I wake to the sound of Lovers At A Distance playing from outside.

This is one my my favorite things about living in New Orleans. I get to live in the city and have the bayou that's only 25 miles away.

I smile.

Nik walks in quietly and sees that I'm awake.
"Good morning love." He says
"Good morning."
"I thought we'd go out for a bite." He says

Good I'm starving.

I move to get up and he shoots me a look. I glance at him, confused.

"Give yourself time to wake up love. I'll be in the kitchen when you're ready."

Once again I am wearing a blindfold. I'm just a matter of minutes I can tell him somewhere different. I feel like I'm up high and I can feel the breeze on my skin.

Nick removes the blindfold and I see were standing on a balcony in some other town. He holds out his hand and I take it and he jumps down off the balcony and my breath catches in my throat until we're safely on the ground.

Nick guides me to a café and we sit down together and talk. He jokes about how stubborn I am and I joke that I have always been a brat and we reminisce together.

Klaus's Flashback:

I sit on the bed and write out the rules on a piece of paper. Now that Lorelei is my sub, it's time to put some rules into place.

1. Talk to me before leaving the compound
2. Be honest.
3. If there's a problem, talk to me.
4. Ask permission before you cum.

I stop at five, running out of ideas. I set down the paper and pen.

" Nik i'm home!" Lorelei calls out
"In here love." I reply

She walks into the bedroom wearing a tight black dress and thigh high fishnets with black heels.

"Come here love." I say

She comes and sits down next to me. We go over the rules together and discuss our expectations, limits etc.

"Awesome. It's all sorted now can we go?"
"Where exactly would we be going?"

She crosses her arms over her chest and makes a face at me.

"Nik look at me. I look hot." She says and does a little spin
"That you do." I say not getting the point
"I want to go dancing."

I raise my eyebrows.

"Dancing?"
"You and me under the stars. It'll be so romantic!"

I roll my eyes.

"Excuse you sir. Last I checked, I was a lot more than just a bitch to kneel at your feet. You want it? Earn it."

I try not to smirk at her.

I chuckle a bit.

"Oh is that how it is?"
"Yes. Take me dancing."

I stand up and walk over to her.

"Where are your manners?"
She smiles a little.

I know she's baiting me but there's something about this little game that drives me crazy.

I run my thumb over her bottom lip.

"Are you going to be polite?"
"No."
"Mm what am I going to do with you?"
"Dance with me asshole!"

Lorelei's POV:

Nik hooks his finger into the loop of the collar and yanks me forward.

I inhale sharply and my breath catches in my throat as I'm jolted forward.
