Klaus POV:
When I walk down the stairs I find Freya and Lorelei arguing.
"What's going on?" I ask
They stop and turn to me.
"We lost contact with Hayley and Elijah but I'm handling it and if your girlfriend would back off-" Freya starts
"Don't give me that Freya! I could've handled this myself but you guys wanted to send them on a suicide mission." Lorelei fires back
The two of them continue bickering and the conversation gets harder to track.
"Back up. You lost them?" I demand
Freya turns to me.
"Yes and I'm trying to figure that out! I can't get a location on them."
"Well we know they were heading to the company's headquarters we should start there. I'll have Rebekah come too."
"What about me?" Lorelei asks
"You're going to stay here and watch over Hope."
"Seriously they took Hayley and Elijah and you want me to babysit?"
I let out a growl of annoyance.
We don't have time for this.
I grab Lorelei by the arm and look her in the eyes.
"You're going to stay here and watch Hope. You will not leave the compound until I tell you you can unless you are in danger. Understood?" I say compelling her
She says she understands and I let her go and call Rebekah.
Rebekah's POV:
I'm sitting enjoying the cold bath when Marcel walks in with my phone which is buzzing. I thank him and take the phone.
"What is it Nik?" I ask
"Lorelei got attacked by hunters last night out in the bayou. Hayley and Elijah killed the hunters but they work for an extermination company. Hayley and Elijah took off to deal with it but we haven't heard from them in hours."
"They took them didn't they?"
"I can only assume."
"I need five minutes."
I hang up the phone and turn to Marcel. He grabs me a towel and we speedily get dressed and head out the door.
We meet Nik and Freya in a field just outside of the building's property.
"I'm going to go do an astral projection so we can see the inside of the building." Freya says
Freya walks off.
Nik is pacing back and forth.
"Nik try and calm yourself."
"They have our brother and the mother of my child!" He snaps angrily
"I understand but we don't know what happened. If we-"
"It doesn't matter what happened."
"If we go in carelessly they might kill them."
Klaus takes a long moment to consider this. He looks like he's about to say something when Freya returns.
"We don't want to be seen so we should go through the side doors on the left and back of the building and one of us should take the roof." She says
We rush into the building Marcel on the left, Klaus on the roof and I take the right. There's nobody stopping us.
It's abandoned.
Or it's a trap.
Klaus's POV:
I walk down the stairs into the building, turn a corner and run straight into a male security guard. He looks stunned for a moment then reaches for his walkie-talkie.
"Hello there mate. I'd like a word with your boss." I say
"Unfortunately he's not in today." The man says
