Was it the tension?

Her head still feels like someone's banging on it with a hammer. The pounding nausea.

She sat back in her chair, and lifted her blue eyes to the white bumpy ceiling, a breath of air falling from her lips.

She tried to distress her shoulders, but her efforts were weak to her solid and stiff body that resembled a rock. Her clammy hands moved to caress her sore shoulders, and a groan escaped her mouth.

Her condition only reminded her of why she was like this.

Her breath was more painful, her hands steadying to move up her body. And she looked over to the ground, moving her feet from under her to rise.

She felt her body bump into a hard wall, and cursed under her breath. Hair whipping against his shoulder she moved to apologize, but her blue eyes caught his dark ones.

"What are you doing here?" stepping back a bit with raised brows she saw the sweet-looking man stare at her without anything behind those eyes. Like a ghost coming back to haunt her for killing them.

"You sound like you missed me blue." His voice was just like a shadow, unimportant to her.

"Just surprised is all." it was a careless response, not even looking into his eyes for more than two seconds. She squeezed her shoulder with a grunble trying to push it back. However she stayed in her spot until she could get back her energy.

"Right, excuse me." his hand gently brushed her hips to move her, the sensual energy he had around her more noticeable now.

She sucked in a breath, her body only being more stiff than she was before. His hand should've sparked something in her but it wasnt nearly as strong or rough looking as his.

She sighed again, this time running a hand through her hair.

It was frustrating enough, she even got with gray in the first place. What was infuriating was how no one could beat him. They couldn't even mimic him.

However rogue always had this magnetism to him that he liked to hide in the shadows. That in itself had her looking over his body, even if there really was no gain to it.

"Let me correct myself, move love." his lips brushed over her ear, his other hands fingers sliding down her jaw. This time the red eyed man was able to make her skin turn warm with contempt.

"Rogue, I did miss you you know."lying through her teeth her sultry voice played out, in a flirty and distracting way. It could have been out of habit since she was tired.

"You played me,." He angrily snapped, his voice calming down into a quieter one when he tried to look into her eyes and feel the hatred.

Not this again. "Yeah, I know that." she sighed, now extremely uninterested. She lost the flirtation in her voice, sounding rather bored.

"I was expecting you to get on your knees and apologize." His voice was always raspy but he was definitely holding back how he felt. His hand cupped her face moving her jaw so she could see what she did to him.

"Stop acting nice."she scoffed, telling him to get to the point. Her eyebrows furrowed in impatience.

" You deserve every single bad thing that happens to you. You don't deserve anyone or anything, you deserve to die alone."  He stood over her, his degrading and hurtful words slithering out his mouth like a snake's venom, pouring out of his heart.  This is how Rogue felt. This is what he wanted to tell her for so long.

"Dont tell me you're still mad, its been 3 years." juvia smiled, her eyes glimmering into his amused and attentive.

Her back hit the wall, and juvia gasped at the hand roughly wrapped around her hip and shoulder.
