Part 2

It was now the weekend and all detentions were on Saturday unless they were in school. So it became normal for their detention to be prolonged/ avoided until Sunday, and not the day before.

Juvia put her uniform on sluggishly, a yawn escaping her mouth, her slender fingers fixing her unruly hair out of place. She ruffled her hair up with a scheming glint in her smile. When you can't sleep you tend to think of things more interesting.

"Lucy this is your chance to get to know Natsu. So I'm gonna sit a few seats away from you."

"Wait. What? Juvia no-" by nature, Lucy figured she could dodge Natsu or at least shield herself with the help of another person. It was hard to be around someone you found attractive alone. The room gets awkward real fast.

You doubt every sentence that comes from your mouth, should you say this or that. What could make him laugh.

"I need to finish some assignments so I can't have you distracting me, but if you need me. Text me I'm always there." spraying herself languidly with her refreshing smell of perfume, and patting Lucy on the back comfortingly like she wasn't pushing her into a corner with a salmon-haired perv.

"Gee thanks, I'm gonna be talking to a harasser for 2 whole hours by myself. Who knows what he'll do to me."

"Lucy you drool over this harasser."

"Don't even start." Wide strict brown eyes, she pointed her slim finger at Juvia to silence her teasing. Last night was awful.

"Alright alright. It's time to go, are you ready?" grabbing her small bag Juvia walked over to the door.

"I just have one more thing to do! I'll be quick I promise!" rushing into the bathroom she ran over to get her ring, her mother's ring.

"Are the boys already there?" Lucy asked closing the locked door and dropping the key inside her bag.

"Oh no way, you could scream bloody murder and they wouldn't wake up. They'll be late."

"We should wake them up."
How inspiring that idea was. They looked into each other eyes with small excited smiles and started banging on the door as hard as they could. Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam! Boom! Bam! Their giggles could be heard throughout the hall.

After the 27th bang, the door sprung open to a pissed-off Gray. Juvia blushed bright red. Lucy just widened her eyes covering her mouth. They stopped laughing, looking at the man in front of them.

The main attraction sporting a small towel around his hips leaned his head down towards them quite intimidatingly.  Water dripped down from his dark hair to his neck all the way down. He got real close to Juvia, a cold annoyed look in his eyes. "What? What do you want?" His tone was snappy, perfect teeth grinding together, with his strong arms folded over his bare chest.

He had just gotten out of the shower, skin wet and glistening. His abdomen was exposed showing how fit his six-pack was.
"We wanted to make sure you two went to detention on time." Taking a step back from him, she spoke clearly, pushing through the rock in her throat.

A smile arrived on his face at the mention of the isolated place. "I forgot about that. Are you actually going?" It was more directed at the blue-haired girl judgingly, reading her intensely.

"Yes, Juvia is." she replied confidently, third-person slipping out by mistake. The only time she spoke in third person was when she was overwhelmed or nervous.

She cut that annoying habit out in middle school, but Gray had a way of bringing out the nerves in her. Her cheeks were flaming, and with him smiling at her. She just wanted to close her eyes and tear them away but she couldn't.
