As they passed by a lot of buildings, Le Yi saw a newborn's store and decided to stop by.

Once the couple parked their car, some zombies attacked but were quickly solved. Le Yi pulled Qiang Zhuang excitedly inside the store and happily picked up lots of clothes for Gu Chen and Ke Ning's child. Seeing his happy expression, Qiang Zhuang finds it cute and somewhat familiar which confused him.

The couple spent a little more time at the store when they suddenly heard a loud smashing sound outside. Both of their faces suddenly went cold. They hurriedly went out only to see their car being stolen.

When the people saw the things inside the car, they were so happy that they laughed. Bags of crystal nuclei were placed at the backseat. There were also other things such as weapons and food. Before they could reach out their hand through the broken window and open the door in the driver's seat, a strong aura suppressed their movements and the hand that was about to reach out towards a certain bag of crystal nuclei was cut off.

"Ah! AHHH!!!! MY ARMSSS!!!," the man exclaimed. The greedy look in his face was immediately replaced by a terrified expression.

The man's companions were scared by what they saw and the other man who was about to reached to the driver's seat quickly retracted and hid his hand.

When they looked forward, they saw two men who were holding hands and the taller man was obviously the one who hurt their companion.

But, seeing his icy face, they all shivered and backed away from the car.

"Pl-please let us go! We didn't mean to steal your car or any of the things inside!"

"It does not look like it," Le Yi sneered.

Hearing his voice familiar, a middle-aged woman looked to him closely and exclaimed, "Le Yi, is that you?!!"

The woman's expression went from terrified to guilt to happy. She stuttered thinking what to say next but before she could start talking properly, Le Yi stopped her with his usual uncaring cold words when speaking to people he doesn't like.

"Don't say more. I don't know who you are. Let's just discuss how you're gonna pay by stealing our hard-earned things."

The woman's look suddenly became unkind. "Y-you white-eyed wolf! You don't even recognize your own mother!!"

Hearing her words, her companions look at Le Yi unkindly. They started calling him things such as vicious, cruel person who abandoned his mother at times of crisis.

Qiang Zhuang's brows were tightly knitted. He doesn't care if the woman is his wife's mother. Already knowing his past and now seeing his baby's expression, it clearly shows he doesn't want to associate with these people.

Le Yi comfortingly held his husband's hand as if telling him not to do anything rush.

"Just to be clear. My father passed away early, and I don't have a mother."

Before anyone could retort, Qiang Zhuang interfered using his powerful aura. Feeling it, the man who had just his arms cut off started crying out in fear.

"Let's go," Le Yi said.

"Wait!!! You can't just go! You have to bring me! In any case, I'm your mother, I give birth to you! I raised you!" The woman was terrified of being left out and shouted hastily.

Her greedy companions was disatisfied with her words not including them.

"We are your mother's friends! You should also bring us!"

"Like I said, I don't have any parents," Le Yi's voice became impatient.
