A month had passed yet Bai still hadnt managed to have a proper conversation with Klaus, his little hubby. However, at least they had everyday greetings now such as 'good morning' and 'goodnight'. Though Bai is the one who initiated it first, before he gets a mosquito-like reply.

Also the system still hasnt come back.

Bai is slightly worried. This has been the first case. Often times it would only take 3 days or a week max for his system to be able to come back.

Did something happened? Did it encounter something?

Alas. Just as he was thinking about it, a mechanical voice sounded excitedly.

[Host!! Wuwu. I am finally back. How are you? Have you been doing well? Did host missed me》* ☆ *《? I missed host and boss as well. Its been a very long timee.]

Bai felt something amiss. However, he did not have time to dwell in it when he heard a shout outside where his hubby was.

Without thinking he quickly ran out.

He saw the child of heavens with his friends surrounding the pitiful child.

"What is the cursed child doing here?"

"Were you not contented before? You still want more, huh!" They continuously pushed the little guy around surrounding him with their healthy bodies.

Bai could not just stand their watching them hurting his hubby. He rushed to them, "Young master! Are you okay?!" Of course he's not! What a fool am I! Bai inwardly scolded himself.

He shielded Klaus' body with his own and 'respectfully' talked to these noble vampires. "Young masters, young master Klaus' body is not good. You should have not pushed him around."

Henry, together with the other kids, felt Bai's character towards them is quite hostile compared to the weak Klaus. They felt mistreated and a chubby child immediately shouted, "Who the hell are you! You're just a useless servant that's about to die anyway! Who are you to shout at me!!!??!"

Bai frowned when he felt a force getting closer. He tightly guarded his little husband. The force is not that strong and he could definitely face it. However, he seemed to forget the fact that he's now a low-level vampire that still needs a special solution in order to function properly. Compared to a noble vampire, no matter if its still a child, he'll be easily defeated.

[Host, stop! Avoid it!] System seemed to realize as well, but Bai did not listen. System has no choice but to forcefully release an aura protecting his host from severe damage.

Oh, damn. Bai inwardly thought before he fell down and lose conciousness.

Bai had a nostalgic dream. In his dream there was this very handsome yet devillish man.

As usual, he went to his hiding spot to observe him. He saw him practicing his swordmanship. The bulging muscles, that devillishly cold face, the sweat that was falling off due to his practice, he simply want to badly wipe it off.

Suddenly, the man stopped swinging his sword and looked at him in the tree.

The youth just smiled brightly seeing he was caught....again.

Seeing that he cant hide anymore, he jumped off from the tree and landed on the ground smoothly.

"Hehe, I see you're swinging your sword again?"

The man just stayed silent. He released his power then the youth found himself outside the man's mansion.

The youth: ...hmph!
