Hazel was sitting at the the window of her chamber gazing out of it at the rose garden infront of it. She was feeling so lonely without Alexander and beside Daxon also did something she didn't knew that but maids are also avoiding her and even Mrs. Elsie didn't came to her chamber since yesterday. She sighed thinking that how much tricks will be played by Daxon just to make her listen to him.
She didn't even understood even why he is doing all this. She don't know him more than that he is the powerful Alpha among all of the Alpha's here and also Alexander is working for him. But then how she is related to him so he is asking her to have a dinner with him at his castle. Does he have any bad intentions towards her? But why would he have any bad intentions towards her when she didn't do anything bad to him. These were the thoughts running in Hazel's mind but only if she knew the truth.
Suddenly the air became tensed and she felt a dark presence somewhere near her. She came out of the chain of her thoughts and raised her head towards her front and saw Daxon standing there in the rose garden at a distance peering at her with his black eyes. Hazel wanted to trail her gaze away from him but something in him didn't allowed her to do that. It was like he casted a spell on her making her grey gaze stuck on him.
Daxon started walking towards her making her startled. She thought to move down from the window but didn't make herself to. Daxon reached near her and stood infront of her making her blink her eyes few times. He extended a red rose towards her making her bewildered. When did he plucked it? And why is he giving to her? Hazel gazed at him confused making him look back at her with his cold and blank gaze. When he didn't said anything for few minutes then she decided to break that awkward silence between them.
"W-what?"she stammered out only this even after collecting so much courage from her body.
"For you." Daxon said with his cold and husky voice making her frown.
"B-but why are you g-giving this to me?" Hazel asked him confusingly because she is someone else's wife and mate and it is inappropriate to give someone else's mate a red rose which indicates the true and eternal love of the giving person.
"You are smart enough to understand it." he said smirking at little at her making her frown to deepen.
"N-no I don't know and I don't w-want it either." Hazel denied him feeling scared of his smirk. Daxon's eyed darkened hearing her rejection and his jaw clenched making her flinch.
"It is rude to deny someone's offer and gift, Sugar." he said to her by calling her with same endearment making her feel something odd but he thought it is just a guilt of rejection his rose.
She slowly and hesitantly extended her dainty glove covered hand towards him and took the rose from his hands. But as soon as she clutched the rose completely in her hands it's thrones pierced her smooth skin making her hiss lightly. Daxon scoffed at her making her head snap at him.
"See love always comes with pain, Sugar." he said mocking her making her slowly nod her head thinking he is talking about Alexander but he was saying this of thinking his mate, Celine.
He loved her eternally and she promised him to stay with him forever but she broke her promise and left him alone in this selfish world giving him so much pain. His lip tugged upwards sadly thinking about her but he masked it immediately and raised his black eyes at Hazel gazing at her coldly.
"I an offering you a life where you will feel freedom, pleasure and power but look at you, you wants to live this caged, trapped and violated life just because you love Alexander." he again mocked her and scoffed at her.
Hazel looked at him perplexed. Is he saying to her that she should leave Alexander and go with him? Or she is taking his words in a wrong way? Watching her looking at him without saying anything Daxon shook his head slowly at her.
"I can give you what you are wanting for these so may years love, passion, pleasure, freedom and what not? Just you have to show some courage and accept my offer and let me take you out of this castle." Daxon started sugar coating his words when his wicked mind understood that she will not agree to his offer and let his plan succeed so now he decided to manipulate her with his sugar coated words.
"N-no I don't want to g-go anywhere with you. If Alexander get t-to know he will---" as Hazel was saying Daxon cut her off.
"Beat you?" he said coldly while clenching his fists because Storm felt so much rage inside him thinking someone else's hurting his mate and by her bewildered expressions he understood that his bluff words are true.
Hazel didn't said anything because she was stunned that how would he know this? Daxon scoffed mockingly at her.
"So he abuses you also?" Daxon asked her coldly with raising his brows at her questionably.
"N-no." she lied to him while avoiding eye contact with her.
Daxon shook his head sighing. "Whom you are lying to Sugar because I can clearly feel your obvious expressions through your veil also." he said making her nervous. Is she being that obvious.
"You are not lying to me but yourself Sugar. And I don't understood why? Because you know you are being violated still accepting him." he said pointing out that truth making her a little angry that he knows everything that he shouldn't she snapped her gaze at him.
"You s-should not interfere in my personal life. I'm happy with Alexander and love him so much." Hazard said bit angrily so that he would shut his mouth but instead of it Daxon chuckled out loudly making her startled.
"You love him?" he asked her mockingly but from inside he was feeling so much anger in him hearing that she loves Alexander.
"You don't love him Sugar. You are just trying to convince yourself and about being happy you are not so stop fucking lie. Because you are not living your life just surviving it in Alexander's control." he snarled at angrily making her shock and think about it.
He was trying to manipulate her more and more and could clearly see that she's coming into his trap of words making him internally smirked. Storm didn't interrupted his this time because he also wanted her to realise that she is being abused and violated all these years and she have to be strong and take her life decisions on her own.
Storm wants her to be strong so she could understand that what is right or what is wrong for her and is Daxon's words are helping him in his intention then he is okay with it but only until she is not hurt by his words. If he will try to hurt her or make her cry then he will not let Daxon to be a single more minute near her even if he also had to stay away from her.
"Besides you should listen to your guests because it's not good to not serve your guests." Daxon played his last card knowing it will surely work on her and make her do what he wants from her. He is so ready to destroy Alexander and make his mate as his and was also succeeding in it.
He left from there leaving her alone lost in her own thoughts.
