Hazel was sitting on her bed being tired. She was cleaning her face with a silk cloth because sweat was running off her smooth skin in result of the work she has to do because maids are helpless infront of Daxon's order and can't do her work. She did her chamber clean and all the things which she could do but when it came to food she didn't knew how to cook food and because of doing so much work she was feeling so hungry. But maids were no where ready to defy Daxon's order.
Her stomach rumbled in hunger and growled loudly. She was feeling very weak and like she will collapsed on the floor very soon. She was feeling exhausted because after all she was princess and never did this types of work and the way Alexander keeps her with so much safety so she would not affect her beauty intentionally or intentionally she got habit of that comfortableness and doing this much work was nerve wrecking for her.
What what could she do now? Does she has to accept her defeat infront of Alpha Daxon and comply his orders by defying Alexander's orders or she should keep rebelling Daxon like this until Alexander comes back. But till then she will surely die of hunger and tiredness. Tears welled up in Hazel's eyes thinking all this why she has to suffer all this? Why always everything bad happens to her? What wrong she has did that she have to suffer like this? Why can't she live with peace?
Hazel sighed she didn't wanted to do this but she don't have any way left besides to listen to Daxon and just like yesterday he said he is her guest and she should not make him upset because she remembered how Alexander was reacting when they were going to that ball. He strictly instructed her not to upset Daxon because he is so important person for him and what if Daxon will tell him that she didn't comply his orders and disobeyed him? Alexander will burn her alive. No! She don't want this.
Hazel immediately stood up from the bed not wasting a single second and went to change her dress to a elegant one and which would be suitable for a dinner. Hazel came out after changing her dress and sat infront of the full length mirror and started wearing some jewellery because to enhance her beauty because Alexander always brings expensive jewellery for her saying that these things make her look more expensive.
Their were no maid to help her so she got ready on her own. Wearing laced gloves and veil she checked herself in the mirror. She was looking perfect just like how Alexander likes her covered for the outer world. She sighed for the hundredth time and stood up from her place slowly walking out of the chamber while clutching her gown in her fists.
As soon as she came out of the restricted area she saw every guard and servant lowered their gaze making her walk fast towards the guests royal chamber where Daxon was staying until Alexander will return back. She was walking hesitantly taking slow steps contemplating whether she should go with him or not. But at the end she left with no choice.
She reached there and waited for someone to come so she could inform Alpha Daxon of her presence but no one was their and the aura outside of his room was dark. She gulped slowly and after waiting for few minutes when she saw no one she decided to enter inside his chamber on her own.
When Hazel entered inside his chamber she saw no one there. She took few more steps inside his chamber looking here and there but found no one. 'Where did he went?' Hazel thought in her mind.
"What are you doing here, Sugar?" suddenly Daxon'a voice came from behind her making her startled. She immediately turned around causing her to loose her balance but before she could fall and made fool out of herself Daxon caught her by encircling him muscular and buff arms around her thin waist.
She gazed in his black eyes nervously, her grey eyes started swirling with an emotion which didn't got unnoticed by Daxon. He saw her looking at him with something in her eyes but before he could understood anything Hazel moved away his gaze from him and stood straight maintaining her posture.
Storm inside him felt so happy looking at her in his chamber on her own he will being desperate to know the reason of her heavenly presence in his hell like chamber. But Daxon didn't wanted to be seem like desperate so he maintained his cold demeanour and blank face looking at her without saying anything.
"I-uh I'm---" Hazel was finding it difficult to tell him why she came here because whenever she comes near him she always feels so kind of attraction towards him which is a sin for her. She is married and someone else's mate and can't feel attraction towards any other man like this.
"Are you alright, Sugar?" Daxon asked her raising his brow at her amusingly.
The endearment he again used for her made her feel special and she didn't wanted to feel like this but she can't help herself and if she will tell him to stop calling her with this name he will not listen to her as always so she sighed defeatedly.
"I-I'm ready for your o-offer of dinner with you, Alpha Daxon." Hazel said to him calmly and politely but Daxon's concentration was not on that but on something also. Storm purred inside him as soon as he heard his human form name rolled of her tongue and in her sweet voice and he wanted his name to called by her. But for not he was helpless so he kept quiet and wait for the moment when he will tell her that she is his mate and not that rogue Alexander's.
"How come you are ready for it now? Weren't you the one who was being so rebellious about it?" he asked her cockily while crossing his buff and muscular arms on his chest showing his veins popping out.
"My husband always s-strictly tells me not to upset his prominent guests and y-you are one of them so it is my d-duty to keep you happy." Hazel stammered out while peeking at his expressions through her veil.
"I like that you are concerned Sugar but I don't like the way he controls you." Daxon said while clenching his jaw hearing the word husband for Alexander from her lips. He wants to hear all the endearments from her lips just for him and him only and he will make sure of that.
"I-I'm fine with it." Hazel told him that she accepted Alexander's behaviour with her and she has no problem with it now.
Daxon suddenly held her hand making a spark to blew up and she felt a tingling sensation in her stomach. She didn't felt any fear from his touch and it was again so shocking for her. She felt something pooling inside her as soon as his rough hand came in contact with her dainty ones.
She felt like that she felt this same hand in her dream but shrugged her thoughts away thinking she is over thinking it. Hazel was so stunned about the closeness with Daxon and more shocking was she was not feeling any fear or pain like she feels with Alexander, her own husband. Is she going Insane? Or she is having second thoughts about Alexander now?
