Chapter 7: girls night

A/N: sorry that i haven't updated in a while. first i had writers block, then technical issues, and then exams were right around the corner. so sorry. i hope you enjoy the chapter :)

"Bye Hugo!" Sofia exclaimed before kissing him softly. It was the end of the school day and they were both going to their respective carriages.

 "Bye sof" Hugo replied before going to sit in his carriage. 

Sofia walked towards her own carriage and took a seat. James and amber were already there. 

"Sofia!" Amber exclaimed. "I just had the best idea! What if we had a girls night? Vivian is already coming over so we could make it a sleepover" 

Sofia smiled at this. It would be a nice way to take her mind off of princess francesca. 

"Sure!" Sofia agreed.  

An hour later, sofia, amber and vivian were in amber's room, having a dance battle. they had been vibing for a while now. when the song came to a close, all three girls collapsed on amber's bed, exhausted. 

"that was so fun!" sofia exclaimed after she had caught her breath. vivian nodded in agreement. 

"what should we do now?" amber asked. 

and then the idea came to vivian. a smirk crossed her face.

 "uh, viv? you look really creepy doing that" sofia said nervously. 

"yea, stop it" amber agreed.

 "we should play truth or dare!" vivian exclaimed. at this point, both amber and vivian were wearing identical smirks. 

"really? both of you? fine we'll play truth or dare" sofia said with a roll of her eyes. what were they up to? 

"so sofia, truth or dare?" vivian asked.

 "ummm, truth" sofia answered.

 "ok" vivan grinned. "how long have you liked hugo?"

 sofia's eyes widened in shock. "do i have to answer that?" she asked nervously.

 "yes!" both amber and vivian yelled. 

"ok, ok. i've liked him ever since he helped me during my first ice dancing recital" sofia confided. vivian's jaw dropped open. 

"you've liked hugo since your first recital?!" amber screeched, 

"a little louder amber, i don't think they heard you over at the observatory" sofia said sarcastically. 

"i'm sorry sof, but you've liked him for that long? why have you only told him just now?" amber questioned. 

"i don't know" sofia replied. "anyway, amber truth or dare" amber was lost in thought for a minute until she answered.

 "truth!" she declared.

 "who is your crush?" sofia asked. 

amber turned bright red and muttered something under her breath. 

"i'm sorry amber, we didn't catch that" vivian said. 

"i like des" amber mumbled a bit louder. 

"yeah, we totally didn't see that coming" sofia said sarcastically. "shut up" amber muttered. 

"vivian, truth or dare?" amber asked, her voice back to normal volume. 

"dare" vivian replied immediately. 

"i dare you to confess to james that you like him" amber smirked. vivian paled. 

"you what!" sofia shrieked. 

"i like james" vivian said simply. 

"now go!" amber exclaimed, grabbing vivian and pushing her out the door. 

a minute after vivian had left, amber tugged sofia up. "come on! let's go spy on them!" amber said. sofia sighed. here we go again.
