Chapter 4: do you love him?

(Sofia's pov)

The carriage had just landed. I walked into the dining room to find my whole family there, having breakfast. "Hey Sofia! How was your date with Hugo?" Amber said. I quickly said hi to everyone before telling them about my day with Hugo. I left out the parts where we kissed. 

After talking with everyone, I went up to my room. "Hey princess" clover greeted. He was sitting on my bed snacking on blueberries and carrots. "Hi clover!" I replied. 

"How was your day with the prince?" He asked. I was surprised. "How did you know about that?" I asked. Clover gave her a look. "Mia and robin saw you with a prince" he explained. I nodded. That made sense. 

"Do you love him?" Clover asked. I thought about it for a minute. I thought about his smile and his personality. I thought about the way he looks and acts towards me. I thought about the way he helped me and the way he would do anything for me. I thought about everything to do with Hugo. And then it hit me. I loved Hugo. A lot. "Yes I think I do love Hugo" I replied to clover.

 "YOU WHAT?!?!?!?!" Came a voice. I opened the door to my room to find my whole family eavesdropping on my conversation with clover. Well the half they could here. And the one who had yelled was amber. 

"Please tell me you didn't hear what I said" I pleaded desperately. My family just stared at me. "Why didn't you tell me?" My mom asked. "I only just realized myself" I replied. "I am happy for you sod, but just know that is he hurts you in anyway I will snap him like a twig" James said. I laughed awkwardly. Amber and dad both hugged me.

 "I am 100% positive that Hugo feels the same." Amber said. I laughed and said that I agreed with her. A few moments later my family cleared out.

 I went back inside my room and changed my clothes into riding clothes. I just felt like going for a ride on minimus. I hurried down to the stable. After talking to minimus for a bit, I saddled up and flew around. I lost my footing however, and fell off minimus. I braced myself for impact but it never came. I felt strong arms wrap around me. I opened my eyes  to find...Hugo?! 

"Looks like your really falling for me princess" Hugo joked. I rolled my eyes. "Thanks for catching me" I said. Hugo put me on the ground before giving me a kiss. "What are you doing here?" I asked. "I wanted to see you" he replied. "Didn't we just see each other this morning?" I asked, confused. "I can't stay away from you" Hugo joked. I rolled my eyes once more before locking lips with him.
