EPISODE 2

Ji-hoon didn't get any minute of sleep. He decided to scroll through social media after not being able to sleep which turned out to be a bad idea. He got a headache from using his phone too much and certainly not in his best mood

His alarm went off at 7:00 am.

"ughh.."

He rises up from his bed and got ready. He ate breakfast, washed his face, brushed his teeth, dressed up, and took 15 minutes to fix his messy hair. He checked the time...

8:10 a.m.

He is late.

After almost falling from his bike from rushing, he made it to his university. He took a second to breathe and heard a familiar annoying voice getting louder.

"Heyyyyy!", shouted Jinni

"Not now Jinni, i'm not in the mood." Ji-hoon sighs

Jinni is Ji-hoon's childhood best friend. They have been through almost everything together since they were six. They met when they were assigned on a play together in elementary.

Jinni rolls her eyes, "your so cruel to me Jiji!"

Ji-hoon parked his bike. "come on, we're already late"

Jinni checked her watch and froze. "huh?!?!! we're 15 minutes late! Oh my god! our professor is gonna kill us, let's go!"

Jinni grabbed Ji-hoon's hand and they both ran to their class.

"How many times should I tell you guys to not be late? If both of you guys are late one more time, you will receive a punishment." professor Lee yelled

"I'm sorry, we won't be late again." jinni and Ji-hoon said in sync

Professor Lee sighed. "okay, go find a seat"

Both of them nodded their head and looks defeated. Ji-hoon scurried away to his usual spot and Jinni followed.

Jinni sat down and prepared the stuff that she needed for that class. "uughh.... I don't think I can get used to Professor Lee's yelling ever.."

...

there was no response

Jinni looked back to see Ji-hoon with his headphones on and resting his head. He looks like he was about to sleep any time soon.

"aww come on..." Jinni pouted, "your no fun Jiji.."

Jinni gave up and just started scribbling on her hand

All of the sudden, the whole class was interrupted by someone barging into the room.

"I-im...." he caught his breath, "Im sorry for being late, professor."

The professor tried his best to keep his composure. "Welcome, your new right? I'll let you slide for today since it's your first day. You can take a seat."

He sighed in relief.

"Woah!" jinni began hitting Ji-hoon's back, "that new student is cute!"

Ji-hoon grunts and lifted his head up from annoyance. He scanned the room to see this "cute" student Jinni is talking about. They were sitting at the back of the class so it was easy to spot him, but he still couldn't find him.

Jinni began bursting with laughter

"oh my god... beside you, idiot"

Ji-hoon turn his head and saw the new student staring at them.

Jinni wasn't kidding when she said he was cute. Some girls start giggling and whispering to each other. His hair is blonde, which stood out a lot. He is tall, but not as tall as Ji-hoon. He was wearing a baggy sweater along with sweatpants, it didn't look like he tried at all to dress up for the first day but he still looks good either way.

I looked into his eyes

Dark eyes. deep and with a hint of confusion, the color of the my favorite chocolate, as innocent and captivating as the eyes of a black lab puppy.

"Don't fall in love with him yet! I look prettier anyways right?" Jinni whispered to Ji-hoon. Her voice made Ji-hoon come back into his senses.

Ji-hoon realized that he was staring into Hae-soo for quite a while.

"Hah, don't worry. You look too ugly for me to fall in love with you." Ji-hoon scoffed

"this is why I hate you Jiji" Jinni pouted and began looking around the room, "this boy already got all the girls swooning! you might finally have a worthy competition~"

"SILENCE." professor Lee shouted.

the whole class went silent.

The professor exploded and began to complain and release everything he wanted to say to the class, everyone stopped talking. Ji-hoon began resting his head again after that. He didn't know why but he began to move his head to the new student's direction and stared at him, without making it obvious.

he seems kinda familiar.

Ji-hoon swore to himself that he saw him before. His face was familiar, but Ji-hoon couldn't get a grasp on where he saw him before. It seems like his staring was obvious enough for the new student to notice. They made eye contact for a few seconds before Ji-hoon looked away and buried his head in his arms.

where did I see him before...?
