Ji-hoon woke up instantly after receiving a painful slap on his back.

"oww..." Ji-hoon grunts

Jinni smiles with a satisfied look on her face

"Stop being dramatic Jiji. It took your ass so long to wake up from that deep slumber of yours, it's not my fault"

Ji-hoon stares at Jinni with nothing but an annoyed look on his face

Jinni continued, "you've been sleeping at each of your classes too! and I have to wake up you up from each sleep, give me a break!"

"my bad. I just didn't get any sleep today and I have to attend another dinner party for Honolive, my schedule is so packed that I fucked up my sleeping schedule" Ji-hoon argued back

Jinni's eyes began to soften and she sighed

"I know, I know. Just joking around. You should really take a break you know? I worry about you too much sometimes"

Ji-hoon snickered

"you sound my mom, no wonder why you both get along so much"

Jinni snickered back at Ji-hoon

"ew don't say that! Think of me as your..."

Jinni blushes

"...lover instead"

The immediate feeling of regret washed over her and she felt so ashamed that she just wanted to die

Ji-hoon stayed silent and the atmosphere became a bit awkward.

Everyone knows that Jinni has a massive crush on Ji-hoon that has been going on since forever. It's not like Ji-hoon is oblivious about it, he knows. He doesn't want their relationship to go that far, and he already made that clear by hinting it to Jinni. Jinni however, still won't give up on her hopeless one-sided love.

Jinni suddenly blurts out

"..Just kidding! I'm sorry that sounded so corny I cringed so hard lol. I just needed to lighten up the mood! Also, your right about me and your mom, I think she might like me better than you~"

Ji-hoon knew not to press any further into that topic and avoided talking about whatever just happened

"mhm, keep dreaming about that. Anyways, i got to go, I need to go home and prepare for the dinner party, I'll see you tomorrow then?"

"Right! I need to do my homework asap so I need to go home fast, bye!" Jinni responded and sprinted out of the class

Ji-hoon packs his belongings and left the class after Jinni had left quite a while ago.

After Jinni ran, she didn't run to the parking lot but instead ran into a bathroom

Jinni began sobbing.

"uughhh... this day can't get any fucking worse"

Ji-hoon sprayed on his cologne and was ready. He had about an hour left, so he just scrolled through Honolive to kill time.

a notification pops up

"Recommended live: Get Ready With Haneul To Go To An Event! [Honolive dinner party 🎉]"

a live notification huh?

Ji-hoon clicked on the live.

Ji-hoon never really watches other people's live unless it was interesting enough to catch his eye or when he wants to support his friends.

The reason why Ji-hoon clicked on the live was because it was whoishaneul's. He remembered Josh telling him about a new streamer that has been getting a lot of recognition lately. He has seen Haneul's face before on an announcement from Honolive's official account but he never knew that it was her.

"Welcome guys! Wow, 20k viewers already! Thank you for coming guys. Today i'm gonna go for natural smokey eye look for today's event, im so excited~"

Ji-hoon was surprised to see Haneul. It's no wonder why Haneul is famous. Her beauty is indescribable, and she had a great bubbly personality.

"Okay, so i've done my base as usual. So i'm gonna go ahead and start with the eye look while answering some questions!

"Oh! hmm..."

"can you say hi to jiji for me?"

Ji-hoon was about to exit out of the live until he heard his something that catches his attention

"I would if I can even approach him lol. I'm a big fan of him too!"

Ji-hoon was surprised to hear her response

Jiji is Ji-hoon's name for his channel. He got the name since everybody keeps calling him Jiji, so he decided to just go with it. Everybody calls him that now, even his professors

"Haha, why do I like him? Hm... I know it's not only me who thinks this way but I think he's really cool! I enjoy his gaming streams, and he's just very relatable sometimes. We share a lot of common interests! You could also say that I'm a fan of his, since I've been watching his videos before he was even popular~"

Ji-hoon became flustered from the compliment he had just heard

It's not rare for Ji-hoon to receive compliments from fans, but it's just that Haneul seems really genuine about hers

She does look a bit familiar though....

Ji-hoon flinches and almost dropped his phone as his phone starts ringing

*Josh is calling*

Ji-hoon answered the call

"Yo Jiji! I'm outside to pick you up. Hurry up, or imma leave you. I'll give you two minutes!" Josh screamed

Ji-hoon hung up the call, turned off the lights and hurried down the stairs, tripping a few times. He saw Josh's car and walked towards it

Josh looked at Ji-hoon and his jaw dropped

"How?! How do you still look good with such a simple outfit! I'm here overdressing and your using a simple white tanktop and grey sweatpants and you still look better than me..."

Ji-hoon was surprised from the sudden compliment as he got into the car

"hah, don't flatter me too much. You look great too, as always. Don't act like I'm the hottest person on earth"

Josh laughed at Ji-hoon's response

"Honestly dude? You are probably the hottest person on earth if I'm being serious-"

", so it's time for you to find love!"

Ji-hoon instantly rolled his eyes when he heard the word love

"not with that again, I'll find someone when I feel like it"

Josh responds, "yeah, but-"

Ji-hoon put on his headphones and began to shut his eyes to relax. He was ready to just get drunk and forget about his all his problems tonight.
