Taehyung sighed for the umpteenth time that day as he grew tired of waiting for his friend to get free and give some attention to him, or at least ask him if he'd like to drink something or not. You know, like we ask our guests if they would like a glass of water, tea, or coffee.
Taehyung was no guest here. Taehyung and Jungkook attended the same high school and later enrolled in the same university to study business. The two had been super-rich. Super-rich as in multi-billionaire.
Taehyung's father owned a car company while Jungkook's father owned a cosmetics company. For many generations, the business ran in their blood. They were the heirs and were expected to expand the business to greater heights.
However, Taehyung couldn't see himself getting occupied behind those heaps of files or persuading those shareholders to agree with whatever decisions he would make. He therefore made the decision to pursue his career in modeling, leaving their firm in the capable hands of his older brother.
Jungkook, on the other hand, managed his family business flawlessly. He had devoted his entire life to his business to the point where he had forgotten that he was twenty-nine years old and needed to move ahead in his life.
Well, not everyone overlooked this fact. Some people cared for him, just like Taehyung did. Hence, he decided to push his friend a little.
Taehyung softly said, "Jungkook, give me your phone," as if he didn't have some funny intentions.
When Jungkook glanced at Taehyung, he noticed him blinking his eyes innocently with a gentle smile. He didn't exhibit any signs of suspicion at all, which caused Jungkook to sigh as he handed up his phone.
Jungkook shook his head and focused on his work, letting Taheyung be. He again forgot about his friend who had been waiting for him for more than half an hour. But he had to finish his work so he could spend some time with his only best friend.
