Panda:
It has been two days and you aren't here.
Panda:
Even my boss isn't back at work. I don't know what's going on.
Panda:
I'm really worried!
Panda:
I hope he is well. I hope you're well too.
"What happened?" Taehyung inquired worriedly as he sat beside Sarang on a chair. They were finally done with the shoot after four hectic days, of which, two days were taken care of by Sarang and Taehyung in the absence of the CEO.
Yoongi had asked Taehyung to help Sarang with the shoot. Of course, it was tough for her to take care of everything in Jungkook or Yoongi's absence.
"My friend has suddenly disappeared," Sarang answered with a pout as she locked her phone and placed it down on her thigh, pouring her attention on Taehyung.
"Huh? Which friend?" Taehyung queried gently, his brows furrowed when he noticed Sarang letting out a sigh while shaking her head.
Surprisingly, Taehyung didn't flirt with Sarang those two days. He tried his best to act like the support system that he was. He decided to continue flirting once Jungkook was back and he didn't have to handle things at his best friend's office.
"I'm talking with this guy on this online dating app," Sarang responded with a shrug.
Taehyung's heart began thumping at those words. It couldn't be that app, right? There couldn't be so much co-incidence. He still decided to ask cautiously, just so his heart could start beating at a normal pace again, "Which app?"
"My you!" There, the bomb was dropped. "I miss bunny," She let out a dramatic whine and Taehyung's eyes widened. He couldn't believe his ears.
He fell in love with this one girl all his life, and it seemed like the girl could never be his. If it was someone else, Taehyung would have snatched the girl from any guy, even if he had to play dirty. But here they were talking about his best friend Jungkook, who he wished to see happy more than anyone.
The problems Jungkook faced in his life were too much, and all Taehyung wished for was to see his best friend happy. If Jungkook wished to give Sarang a chance, Taehyung was ready to sacrifice his love for his friend.
At this point, Taehyung was more desperate to see Jungkook happy. And he was even ready to sacrifice his own life for Jungkook. So, sacrificing his love wasn't a tough decision to make.
Within the next minute, Sarang's phone rang which grabbed the attention of the two. Sarang's brows furrowed in confusion when she noticed her boss calling her.
She quickly received the call. "Hello?!" She tried her best to sound normal, but somehow, it came out as a question.
"Sarang, I want you with the photos at my house within fifteen minutes. Please take a cab and come alone." Jungkook let out in an authoritative tone. Sarang's breath hitched at the manly voice that she heard two days after their date. Also, the way her name rolled out of his mouth sounded so perfect.
Jungkook always referred to her as "Miss Park." But the way he spoke "Sarang" gave a whole different meaning to her name it seemed.
"I'll be there, sir!" She responded politely before rising to her feet. She quickly waved at Taehyung and made a run toward the photographer to get the photos from the shoot that she had to take, leaving Taehyung with his broken heart and overthinking mind.
"It seems like you are going to learn about everything." He mumbled to himself as he stared at the love of his life. He smiled weakly but his eyes shone so brightly like he was staring at something precious with fondness.
"Do you love her?" A hand was placed on Taehyung's shoulder gently, but somehow, the male failed to grab the attention of the guy who had his gaze fixed on Sarang.
"It doesn't matter if I love her or not. If my friend loves her, I should let go of her." He responded as if he was in a trance. He was staring at the way Sarang talked with the photographer and laughed so beautifully that his heart ached. But he was ready to let go of her. He was ready to stop showing his emotions. He was ready to let go of those tears that finally trickled from his eyes, like a beautiful endless waterfall.
Love is indeed a complicated emotion. He loved her all these years, but he chose to hide his feelings. And now when he got to know that she might fall for his best friend; his broken heart and those endless tears decided to display all the emotions that he had kept hidden in the deepest corner of his heart.
Except for Jimin, no one saw those hurtful emotions in Taehyung's eyes that day. And Taehyung made sure that no one would see those feelings in the future anymore.
