Faith:
"DAD?!"
I yelled to my dad from in my room. I didn't hear a response so I walked out still in my pajama shorts and tank top.
"He's not here. Neither is my mom"
I turned around to see Justin walking down behind me.
"Where is he?"
"Honeymoon.... The one they told us about last night"
"Oh. Well I was tired."
"Cute shorts by the way"
"Ew stop."
I walked to the fridge and grabbed some orange juice. I walked to the living room and sat down. Justin soon came in and sat next to me but leaving space between us.
My phone started ringing while Justin tried to find something to watch. I answered it.
"Hello?"
"H-hey Faith. Its Tanner."
"Oh hey Tanner."
Just as I said that, Justin turned on the music channel and started turning it up singing loudly.
"Uh I was-"
"Hold On Tanner! I can't hear you! Justin turn it down!"
"Why sis?! Have a little fun!"
"Justin!"
"What?! Did you call my name?!"
"Ugh!!"
I got frustrated with him and walked outback by the pool with my phone.
"Tanner? Hey sorry for...my brother. He's a dick"
"Haha that's fine. I understand the whole sibling thing trust me. But um I was gonna see if you'd wanna hang out today? There's a party tonight at a friend's house. I kinda would like you to...be my date"
"Yeah. That sounds good."
"Ok. Well since its only 2pm now....pick you up at 6?"
"Ok. See you then."
"See you then."
We hung up and I walked back inside. Justin had turned the music off and I put on my nice face.
"Heyyyyy broooo."
"What"
"Oh nothhhinggg. Whatcha watchinnn"
"Faith what do you want"
"Can you drive me to the mall?"
"For what"
"Tanner wants to take me to a party tonight as his date and I need a new outfit."
"Oh okay."
"So you'll drive me."
"No."
"What? Whyyyy"
"I'm not in the driving typa mood ya know? And this is the first time you guys are going anywhere together. A party? Really?"
"Justin!"
"Mm I like the way you yell my name"
"Stop being fucking creepy."
"That's no way to talk to the person you're getting a ride to the mall from"
