Chapter 7

You woke up around 9:56 and stretched. You grabbed your phone and texted Toby. You both agreed today he would met your parents, then you ran down stairs to see your parents talking. "Hey mom and dad, I think you two should met Toby today" you said "ok honey, when will he be coming over" your mom said. "Around twelve o'clock" you said then turned to go back in your room to get ready. You put on a white sundress with white converse and a black feather necklace. You styled your hair and put on makeup until 11:59. A few moments after your doorbell rung and you ran down the stairs to get it. Toby was there looking nervous "Toby, are you okay" you asked as he walked in "I'm just scared about meeting your parents, what if they don't like me" he said. "They'll like you, your nice and responsible, they'll love you" you said reassuringly "I guess" he sighed. You both walked in the living room "mom, dad, this is Toby" you said "hi Toby, it's so nice to finally met you" your mom said. "Hello mr. and mrs.
(L/n)" he said politely, after that they talked and talked. Your parents really did like Toby because your mom kept talking about how he was your perfect match.

You were in your room, playing on your phone until you heard a knock on your window. Toby was throwing pebbles at window. You opened the window and Toby was motioning for you to go to your front yard. When you got there he asked "did they like me" you smiled and kissed his cheek "yes, they think you're my perfect match". He smiled "so what do you wanna do" he asked "I wanna show you a special place" you said grabbing his hand and leading him. You arrived at the corner of the lake in the park "here it is" you said sitting down and Toby sat beside you. "It's beautiful, but not as beautiful as you" he said and you blushed. The moon light sparkled on the water and a bunch of white roses covered the spot except the way to the water and the way you and Toby got in. It was like a scene from a romantic movie. "This is my favorite spot, it's so beautiful" you said as you laid on your back to look at the stars. "Yeah" Toby replied and laid on his back, then you both talked until 2 am.

You and Toby walked home together until you heard a static noise. "Do you hear that" you whispered to Toby and he nodded. You looked behind you to see a tall, faceless, man staring at you both. He tilted his head and turned around, as he did the static noise grew softer. You looked at Toby who was just as confused as you were "what was that" you asked. "I have no idea" he replied, a little freaked out.
