You strut through the school doors following your handsome guard. Standing their sexy, every person in the corridor turns in an instant to stare at you up and down. Football lads are gawking and every girl wants to be you: a perfect super model; perfect outfit; perfect boyfriend; the prettiest person alive.
'My lady,' Stefan said, breaking the scene and handing you his arm to link. You accept his offer and wrap you'd arm around his, rolling your eyes considering he ruined your moment.
The bell rings for first period, you say goodbye to your boyfriend and swiftly walk across to maths, the only lesson you and Stefan didn't have together. You bump into Caroline at the door, 'sorry Care.' Caroline chuckles and walks in the room.
Waving to Jeremy, you find your way to your seat next to Elena. 'Hey sis,' you say to her, as happy as anyone could be. You haven't spoken to her since you started dating Stefan, it only happened yesterday and you haven't had chance to chat. 'Hey, what's up?' She replies.
'Not much, just the usual. Oh and Stefan asked me out, you ok with that?'
'Oh yeah I am, it was my idea actually. I could tell he was literally in love with you and I knew you secretly had a crush on him, you can't hide anything from me sis,' Elena says.
You arnt quite sure if Elena is 100% positive about you dating Stefan. After all, she was the one who talked to him first, the one who originally called dibs - except Caroline but she doesn't care. Accepting the fact that she said it was ok, you decide to stop overthinking and slowly reach into your bag. You pull out one textbook and two pens. Nearly falling asleep, you finish the rest of maths and is startled when the bell rings.
'I never understood maths,' you say to yourself.
[5 hours later]
Stefan walks you home straight after school, 'You should come round, now.'
'Awh I would but I've gotta look after Jeremy, how about tomorrow at 6?' You respond
'6 it is, I love you.'
You heart skipped a beat, that was the first time he'd said the three words, you don't know how to feel. You kiss him goodbye and shut the door behind you.
You decide to not think about what Stefan just said - is it not too early?
[3 hours later]
Tired, you get dressed for bed and brush your teeth. You slide under your covers, lying on your back and getting comfy. Surprisingly, your eyes quickly shut after just 5 minutes.
[the next day]
Waking up to the sound of birds, your eyes slowly open, looking up at the ceiling. It was Saturday morning, 11:30am, so you don't have school today. You spend the day shopping with Caroline and then meet Bonnie at the grill at 4:00pm for dinner.
'Oh crap sorry guys, I'm going over to Stefan's house for 6,' you say just after 5.
'That's ok go ahead,' Bonnie says.
'Have fun!' Caroline responds, winking.
Nervously, you arrive at the Salvatore house. You drag your feet up to the front door and slowly build up the courage to knock. It isn't pitch black outside but it's getting darker so you finally tap on the door.
'Hello, pumpkin.'
It wasn't Stefan that answered the door, a tall sexy man stood in the doorway with his diamond blue eyes glistening in the moonlight. His hair is black and looks soft to the touch. He's wearing similar clothes to Stefan: a black shirt, black jeans and a hot black leather jacket with a glass of bourbon in his hand. Your heart melted at the sight of him, when he spoke his voice was soft but daring. Kind but adventurous.
Stuttering you say, 'H-hi I am um.'
'Stefan's girl I presume?' He says, cutting you off.
'Oh um y-yes. Y/N, Y/N Gilbert,' you say, offering your hand.
He accepts your offer and shakes your hand as you wonder why you did that, your not fancy or posh you could've just said hi.
'Damon, Damon Salvatore.'
Damon. Stefan hadn't mentioned much about Damon, only that he was his brother. What Stefan left out was how hot Damon was, his smile made your back shiver and tingle with delight. But what about Stefan? Do you love him like he said? What do you say?
'Y/N, you're here.' A familiar voice came from behind Damon.
'Stefan, hi. I was just introducing myself to your brother.'
'She's pretty brother, don't go all ripper on her like the other ones,' Damon tells Stefan and walks away.
'Ripper, what does he mean ripper?' You ask.
'Y/N do you love me?'
'I don't know, I- I think it's too soon to tell.'
'Do you trust me?'
'Yes of course I do.'
'Ok then I have something to show you, but you can't tell anyone.'
Suddenly, Stefan changes right infront if you: his eyes change blood red as veins start to rush underneath his eyes, down to his cheeks. His teeth transform into sharp, bright white fangs and Damon does the same from behind him.
