It's almost been a month since the death of Jennifer Blake. And since Deucalion got his vision back. When I first found out that Kali died at the hands of Jennifer, I couldn't help but feel happy, but it also concerned me that I felt that way.
I spent the past 3 or so weeks with Scott, Stiles, and June. I hadn't spent much time with Isaac and Lydia lately, they've both been with Allison most of the time. Scott has been teaching me a lot about my Werewolf abilities, and I was happy to find out I could finally control my transforming. I wasn't sure if I'd be able to on the full moon, but for now, I was able to use my claws, hearing, smelling, and everything else.
School started in an hour, and I've been awake for the past two. I just laid there in bed, staring at the ceiling and petting Milo occasionally.
A few minutes later, I finally decided it would be best to get ready, stepping into the shower. I let tears that I didn't even know I had fall, while I washed my hair.
Deciding to change into low-waisted jeans, and a tight black long sleeve that showed some of my stomach, I looked at it and frowned. Looking in my full body mirror and contemplating on changing shirts.
But before I could, my father called my name. "Breakfast!"
I smiled to myself before grabbing my bag and phone, shoving it onto my back pocket as I crawled up the stairs on all fours...It's a habit.
I was smiling widely when I sat down at the table, and my father noticed, raising one of his eyebrows at me.
"What's got you so giddy today?" He asked, setting my plate in front of me, before sitting down as well.
"Thank you. And nothing, just having a good day I guess." I answered, shoving eggs into my mouth.
"Scott's picking you up, isn't he?" My dad smirked.
"Yeah—that's not why I'm excited though!" I declared.
"Mhm." He mumbled, smiling.
We talked for a few minutes before I heard a loud engine outside, scraping the rest of my food onto my dads plate and rinsing mine off, setting it in the dishwasher.
I walked over to my dad and kissed his cheek on my way out.
Scott grinned at me as I walked out, handing me his helmet, which I denied. I mean we both heal pretty incredibly, neither of us really needed the helmet.
