Julie's POV
I woke up halfway on my bed and halfway off it. I scrambled off it in a jumble of person. I slowly got up and walked out to see Candy still "peacefully" sleeping. If you somehow got comfortable like that. I walked into the kitchen and took out the box of Bisquick in my cabinet and started throwing together some pancakes. And some bacon, it's not breakfast without bacon! While I was finishing up the bacon, the smell of it was everywhere. That was what woke up the pile of person called Candy.
"I SMELL FOOD."
"You smell right." I threw a plate of a waffle and a couple pieces of bacon in front of her on the table next to the bunny skull. I set down butter, peanut butter, and syrup next to it and setting myself down with my own plate.
"Thanks bruh." she said while attepting to spread butter across her waffle. I simply nodded.
"I think if we put our heads in the game, we can get this thing done today." I explained.
"What are you gonna call him? He can't be Springtrap again." she stated. She told me about the original animatronic while I was welding yesterday and she was getting fabric.
"We could just call him Spring."
"Why?"
"Then we can say that Spring is just around the corner."
She smirked and finished her food and I finished mine. I grabbed the plates and took them into the kitchen and set them in the sink.
"TAKE A SHOWER TOO!" I screamed into the house before going back out to the shed to start working on the endoskeleton.
Candy's POV
I snorted at her exit words. I will take one later. I scooted up to the coffee table and started to sew together the other half of the head fur, making sure to leave gaps for the eyes, mouth, and ears. After laying it out and putting it on the head, supergluing it, I got up and stretched and looked at my half of the blueprints. The hardest to do should be the limbs, but everything else should go by easy.
ANOTHER TIME SKIP
I looked at the clock. It was 4 already. I looked back at the now complete shell of the robot bunny. I picked up the head and petted it. Julie was right, the fur just makes you wanna hug it. I got up and took a shower and stole some of Julie's clothes, shorts and a black tee shirt. I went into the kitchen to raid the fridge and pantry. I walked back into the living room and turned on the TV and sat down and ate what I found. I heard some clanging at the back door and looked over.
"A LITTLE HELP?!" I heard Julie trying to get the skeleton in through the door. I moaned and got up. I waddled up and grabbed the shoulders and she grabbed the legs. We waddled it in slowly and set it down on its feet. I looked it over.
"Beautiful, what now? Put it together?" I asked.
"Nope. Now for the fun part." She smiled at me. "Time to make the voice box."
We walked over to her desk and she started up a collection of voices and what looked like a curcuit board was plugged into the computer. We went through making fun of the wierd voices and putting the ones we liked to the side into a different folder. We narrowed it down to 3 voices. One sounded like Morgan Freeman, one like Peter Griffin, and the last sounded like the guy version of Siri from the settings menu on almost every Apple device. Finally, after some pointless arguments, we settled on the Morgan Freeman voice.
"Spring is gonna sound like a narrator." Julie stated.
"But you will be able to listen to that sweet voice all day." I tried to do a Morgan Freeman impersonation.
She playfully punched me in the shoulder and completed the download into the board. She unplugged it after it was complete and walked over to the endokeleton still standing there and lifted the head to put the board into a slot and connect it to a couple wires.
"Let's put the shell on it then we can put the memory chip in its head." she said. I nodded and started handing her the shell and she attatched them as I handed them to her. We stepped back and took a look at the now almost complete animatronic.
"I need a shower before we turn it on." she said turning to me. I nodded and sat back down on the couch and waited for when all our work would come to life. While she was taking a shower, I had an idea. I ran into her room and took a black tee shirt that she never wore anymore and went to the sewing machine that was still on the coffee table. I quickly made a little bowtie and wrapped it around the neck and hand sewed the back together so it stayed.
"For a person who makes dresses, you do well with animatronic fur." I looked behind me to see Julie standing there.
"Thanks, where is the memory chip anyway?" she walked over to where she left her bag and took out the little chip.
"Would you like the honors?" She handed me the chip. I smiled at it and opened the hatch in the back of it's head and put it in place. I stood back as we watched it whir to life.
