After a few weeks in Germany, Nicole was feeling a little homesick. She and Loki talked almost every night, but it was not the same. She wanted to see him. One evening she got a call from Loki around their usual calltime. When she picked up, however, Loki was holding the screen very close to his face.

"Loki, why do you have your phone so close," she asked.

"Sorry, is it difficult for you to see me?" was his reply.

"Well it's not very difficult to see your pores, but the rest of you, yes," she chuckled, "What's going on? And what's that noise, are you in the mall or something? Where are you?"

Loki sighed, "Well actually, I'm at the airport," he finally took the phone away from his face to reveal that he was standing at a baggage claim in an airport, "and I was hoping that you could possibly pick me up?"

Nicole jumped off the bed, "You're here? In Germany?"

Loki chuckled, "Yes, I told you I would come for a visit."

"Okay, just stay there, I'll come get you soon okay?" Nicole quickly hung up. She went to the nightstand and pressed a pink button similar to the one in the lab. Within seconds she heard a knock on the door and Agent Rosa's voice.

Miss Avengood, is everything alright? I believe you buzzed for me."

Nicole opened the door, "Yes, I need to pick up a friend from the airport, could you take me?"

Agent Rosa looked confused, "A friend?"

"Yes, from the airport," Nicole started to walk out of the hotel room, but Rosa stopped her.

"Miss Avengood, I'm sorry, but I don't think that..."

"Agent Rosa, please!" Nicole pleaded, "I'm asking, begging you, not associate to associate, but girl to girl, please!"

Agent Rosa's eyes softened, "I'll bring the car around."

"Thank you!"

"But, Miss Avengood," it was Agent Rosas turn to have a pleading look in her eye, "Tell no one I helped you with this."

Nicole nodded and smiled, "Thank you!"

Loki stood outside the airport waiting for Nicole. He checked his phone to see if he had any messages from her, but there was nothing. When he looked up from his phone, he saw a black SUV pulling up. When it stopped and the door opened, he saw Nicole jump out. She ran to Loki and threw her arms around him. Loki stumbled back slightly due to the momentum, but he caught her in his arms and returned the hug.

"I missed you!" Nicole whispered almost tearfully.

"I missed you, too, Ace," Loki replied.

"Come on, let's get you to your hotel," Nicole said, pulling out of the hug and taking Loki's hand, "Where are you staying?"

"I'm not exactly sure," Loki said a little shyly as he let Nicole lead him to the car.

"Well, where's your reservation?'

"I, um, don't exactly have one."

Nicole looked back at Loki as they got into the car, "You didn't make a hotel reservation?"

"Well, to be fair, this is the first time I've ever done this. I've never had to worry about that sort of thing before, so how was I supposed to know?" Loki said defensively as he shut the door.

Nicole chuckled, "There's an extra bed in my room, you can sleep there for a day or two."

"I beg your pardon, Miss Avengood," a voice piped up from the driver's seat, "but I'm not so sure that's a good idea."
