⋰⋰The Unexpected⋱⋱

Vegeta only saw darkness. He knew that voice, and he wanted his eyes open. And he meant soon. 

Vegeta hears the voice again, "Vegeta! Wake up, please, i'm here. Please!" and he feels his eyes sting with tears slightly.

....

Thud

Vegeta jolts his eyes open, his eyes darting around the room. But, Nothing was seen except white walls. White floor. And... Blood? It just trailed to.... Emptiness.

"Vegeta! Wake up!" The voice shouts, worry in his voice. Vegeta only jolts when the man yells, his eyes widening.

Vegeta looks around frantically, breathing heavily as he clenches his chest. Then he covers his ears when he hears a wicked laugh, now running his hand through his hair,  gripping it. His eyes still wide with fear and regret.

"Leave him! He deserved what he got." A voice says with it's cackle. Making Vegeta clench his hair tighter. As his hands clench his hair, he feels his gloved hands shake violently. 

Vegeta lifts his head and finally see's a ship. He bolts over, like his life depended on it. He breathes heavily as he ran, soon reaching the ship and entering. He pants and hugs his arms, looking around as he walks in.

"I said leave him, didn't I, you fool?" A voice says sternly, making Vegeta duck as he looks around then sees a door slightly cracked open.

Vegeta walks over, quietly so that the people inside can't hear him coming close... His breath hitches when he sees himself on the floor, covered in blood as a red male with long white hair held him close. Vegeta places a hand over his mouth when he chokes on his sob.

"Lord Frieza, please, he didn't do anything wrong!" Jeice shouts. Tears filling his eyes as he looks down at the beaten up Vegeta, holding him tight and close. Rocking him side to side.

Frieza laughs and his tail flicks slightly, then stops. Frieza glares down at the unconscious Vegeta and scowls. Turning around, walking towards the door, causing the door to slide open automatically. A disappointed expression on his face.

Vegeta furrows his brows when Frieza has no reaction to him standing there. Instead, Frieza proceeds his walk and walks through Vegeta. Like... He was some sort of Ghost.

"Vegeta, Please...Please, Please wake up..." Jeice whispers to Vegeta. Holding him close as he wipes some blood off the Vegeta's face.

Vegeta walks in, slowly. Looking around the room before looking at his body and his friend, Jeice... Vegeta knew that Jeice cared about him, Jeice was the person who stuck around Vegeta when Frieza said he was too busy to deal with Vegeta. 

Over the course of years, Vegeta and Jeice grew a bond. Always hanging out and always playing games with one another.

Vegeta stares down at the two and reaches his hand out, slowly. Wanting to comfort Jeice. Almost touching Jeices' shoulder. But, something pulls him back and he fell back into reality.

THUD!

Vegeta opens his eyes and gasps, clenching his fist as the other supports him as he sits up. Tears streaming down his cheeks as he shakes. Breathing heavily as his eyes are wide.

"V-...Vegeta?!" Goku shouts in worry. 

When Goku realized Vegeta spaced out, he only looked in confusion. Raising a brow as Vegeta started to pant softly and say someone's name under his breath. Goku didn't catch the name, but when he saw Vegeta fall back, he quickly ran to the older Saiyan's aid. 

Vegeta looked over at Goku with wide eyes, tears still running down vegeta's cheeks. Soaking them as Vegeta opens his mouth to yell at Goku, but nothing comes out.

He tried his hardest to stop the tears taht fell, only causing more to fall down. He didn't want his rival seeing him like this, but he knew it was too late for that...

Goku quickly pulled the prince into a hug and rocked back and forth, trying to sooth the prince as he panics. Holding him tightly as Goku proceeds to try and sooth the prince.

Vegeta dosen't do anything. He stiffens, Not hugging back, not talking, nothing. He just stares at the wall behind Goku with wide teary eyes as his vision goes blurry due to those tears, that fell rapidly.

"I'm Here for you..." Goku says, hugging his friend closely. Tightly. As if trying to protect Vegeta.

"I'm here, Please..."

Vegeta heard Jeice's voice once again, making his chest ache with pain. Gripping Goku's clothes as he proceeds to let tears stream down his face.

"Shhhhh... It's okay, Vegeta."

Vegeta hears that, and relxes a little, feeling like Jeice is still here with him... But, he knew it was just Goku. Then he felt Goku rub his back, trying to ease him down.

Vegeta accepts this and tears stop falling from his eyes, slowly leaning into Goku's hug. Relaxing when he feels the slow rocking...

Slowly closing his eyes as drifts off...

"Jeice..." Vegeta mumbles before his eyes completely shut.
