"Hyung!" Jeongin welcomed him with a cozy hug as always. Jisung was all smiles.
"Are you cold?" Jeongin asked, pulling away from the hug.
"No."
"Your face is completely red."
"Fuck. Fuck. Fuck." He deadpanned thinking if it was so visible Minho might have noticed it too.
"Let's eat."
"Yeah, I'll check what's in the fridge."
"No need to. Felix's mom packed dinner for us. We'll be eating good food today," Jeongin exclaimed with a cheerful smile.
"Wow, cool! Let me freshen up,"
He went to the washroom. Quickly turning the tap on, he burst out crying silently. The soft sound of the running water was not enough to cover his cries, hence he had to be inaudible. It was funny how the water even refused to listen to his wails.
He took out his phone and texted his mother.
"Why did you have to die? Why? Why aren't you alive? And even if dad had to die, why did he leave us in debt? I hate you. I DESPISE YOU FOR BEING DEA-"
Suddenly, his phone blacked out. He tried to switch it on, but it was no use.
Wow, did his phone reject him too?
After all, his parents had bought him the phone before they died. It had served him for pretty long.
Jisung wiped the tears from his eyes. He had endless reasons to cry. Despite going to school early in the morning and returning home late, working extra shifts on weekends and even borrowing money from his crush, he was unable to afford the 'good food' his brother loved eating.
Fresh teardrops rolled down his cheeks once again when he remembered he had to reject his crush because he wasn't in the best phase of his life.
However, this might not have been the only reason behind it. There was another reason why he couldn't like Minho. A reason solely two people knew.
"Minho ahhh! Why? Why did you have to say those three words?" he groaned.
[:
Minho was watching a bl.
"They sound amazing," he thought as he watched them make out. He got distracted by his phone ringing. It was his mom.
"Hello, Minho. What are you doing, honey?"
He glanced at the TV before replying,
"Studying Biology."
"Great, we'll be back by Thursday."
"Sure, take as much time as you need." They hung up.
Minho was feeling relieved because he had finally confessed to Jisung.
