Jisung stopped to a halt. His eyes bugged out.
"W-What?"
"Parts such as nails, hair, and teeth which have no blood circulation, not organs like lungs, livers, or kidneys."
He took a closer look at the tray. There were hair strings attached with tape beside the names.
"Oh Yoonmin? Choi Eunseo? Lee Byunghun? Isn't that your father?"
"Yes, I collected every person's I got. And here are my teeth." He took out a box with a few teeth.
"Whose teeth are those?"
"I can't congregate everyone's teeth, you know. So these are mine only."
Jisung made a face of disgust as soon as he saw the teeth. The teeth were worn out and damaged by cavities.
"How can someone have such weird hobbies?"
"Do you think it's unsettling?"
"Ummm....yeah."
"I'm aware. And here are some nails. These, too, are mine."
The nails were mostly cut. He presumably saved the nails every time he cut them. But he noticed something different.
"How do you have a full nail? Aren't these supposed to be cut?"
"I had my infected nails pulled and grew them back. So I preserved those too."
"Ok, weird but why don't you collect them now?
"I wasn't interested anymore. Anyways, we should begin our lessons."
He glanced at the tray before Minho removed it.
"How did you get those?"
"It's simple. Look out for it on their shoulders or clothes."
"Hmmm.....big brains."
Jisung sat on the chair in front of Minho's study table. Minho placed another one right beside it.
Jisung and Minho were sitting close to each other, their bodies almost touching. Jisung was struggling to focus on the numbers on the pages in front of him. He was entirely captivated by the sound of Minho's breathing.
He could sense Minho's eyes watching him the whole time. It felt as if an invisible kind of ray was radiating from his gaze that pierced through his skin, heating his whole body.
"Jisung, why did you stop writing?"
"Oh, I was processing it."
Minho smirked. He knew very well that he was flustered.
