one ride is all it takes

It was getting late in the evening Emma tapped her legs at the office floor.she wanted to go home early today but her boss Miguel o'Hara asked her to do overtime 

Today it was valentine's day,she didn't had a boyfriend but atleast she wanted to spend time alone and watch movies to lessen her pain.

“emma" she heard her boss call her “ yes sir" she replied politely “you can go home now" Miguel said as he took some documents off her desk.

Emma was overjoyed but she didn't wanted to show this to her boss,“thank you sir" Emma replied smiling brightly, Emma was in her tune so she couldn't notice that someone had blush on their face.

Emma got out of the office building, her heels claking against ther marble floor, she dressed in a simple pencil skirt, a light green top with two buttons open.

It was a windy that day, it looked like it was about to rain.she quickly got near the bus stop and looked around,then she looked at the bus timing.

Then she released that the last bus to her home was long gone.

She quitely sat at the bus stop. It was getting colder and colder as the time passed, emma was now shivering

Emma looked at her watch and she noticed it was past ten, normally the city would never be this quite, but today was valentine's day only couples were outside holding each others hand, she really envies them, when will it be her turn for romance! ,she screamed in her head

Emma felt a shiver run down her spine as she looked around, she felt as if someone was burning holes behind her back, Emma could feel eyes on her.

She quickly looked around and saw some teenage boys looking her way, she wasn't the type to get scared easily but it was late in night and she just wanted to go home, eat warm food and sleep in her cozy bed.

Emma was now really getting frustrated as the growling clouds caught her attention “oh hell nah!",she exclaimed as she looked around “ i really need to go home" she mumbeld to herself.

She was in her world as she started checking her purse for money so she could book a cab , as she looked around her purse she didn't notice a black car pulling infront of her.

The windows of the car rolled down as the man inside it asked “ Do you need a ride home miss sano" , Emma finches at the voice and snapped her head towards the mans voice which was quite familiar

“ Mr.o'hara what are you doing here" Emma asked after few minutes of her staring at her boss,“ Well I was going home, and saw you here,i suppose the last bus already left?"

“ yes sir but i was just going to get a ca-" her sentence was cut short by the thunder and it started pouring hard,“ don't worry i will take you home" her boss said surprisingly in a soft tone.

“uhm" she really didn't wanted to bother her boss but she was running out of options.

“ thank you sir for your generosity" Emma said as she sat in the car.“miguel call me Miguel" ,“ huh" she was surprised “I can call you by your first name" she asked dumbfounded, the man giggled suprisingly“yes but can I call you Emma"

He asked still smiling “ yes why not” she quickly replied

It was a long ride nobody said anything but, it was a comfortable silence

Her house came it the view she was happy now, she can lay in her cozy bed.

The car stoped moving in fornt of her house, she opened the door of the car and looked back one more time.

“ thank you si- i mean Miguel" she was bright liked a red tommato

“ no problem but you should get inside before you catch cold" she said as he drove away

Come to think of it how did he knew her house, it's not like ot ever told him.

Emma steped in her house and stood there for a movement and thought really thought

She was in love with her boss! Oh God what is she going to do now, she will think about this later, now she needed rest.
