In the 11th century BCE, Hanoch, a seer, was tasked with documenting a great evil that had befallen his people. Seated at his desk with a quill and a parchment scroll before him, he meticulously began to write. As he immersed himself in his work, a young boy, Asa, entered the room and curiously asked Hanoch about his writing.

Hanoch looked up from his scroll and smiled at the boy. "I am writing about a tremendous evil that has come upon our people," he replied. The boy's eyes widened as he sought more information. "What kind of evil is it?" he inquired. Hanoch let out a sigh and responded with sadness in his voice. "It is a darkness that will soon consume our land. It is an affliction that has claimed many lives and left others suffering from unknown illnesses.

These are times filled with immense sorrow and fear." The boy frowned deeply. "Is there anything we can do to stop it?" he asked, hoping for some glimmer of hope. With regret in his eyes, Hanoch shook his head slowly. "I fear not, my child. However, through this scroll, I am writing, we can warn others and help them prepare for what lies ahead." Hanoch continued to write diligently while speaking these words of wisdom as his quill gracefully moved across the parchment.

The young boy watched silently beside him, sensing their weight and responsibility. Finally, Hanoch gently placed down his quill and looked up at the boy before him. "It is finished," he whispered. Curious to see what had been written on the scroll, the boy approached Hanoch's side and peered over his shoulder at the carefully crafted words. In awe of what he saw before him, he commented sincerely.

"It's wonderful." Hanoch smiled, his smile tinged with sadness. "It is a work born out of sorrow, my child. However, I hope it will serve a greater purpose and guide our people through these dark times." The boy nodded solemnly, and together, they rolled up the scroll and secured it with a ribbon. Hanoch extended the scroll to the boy. "Take this to the elders," he instructed gently. "They must see it immediately."

The boy accepted the scroll and hurried out of the room, his mind filled with the words he had witnessed and the great evil that Hanoch had painstakingly described.

Luke, known for being introverted, had reluctantly agreed to attend the party after Britney's invitation. As he stepped into her house, he was greeted by an atmosphere brimming with liveliness. The music blared in his ears as laughter reverberated throughout the space. "Hey there, Luke! Glad you decided to come!" Britney exclaimed excitedly as she enveloped him in a warm hug.

"Yeah... thought I'd give it a shot," Luke replied hesitantly, feeling slightly out of place. He scanned the room and spotted his friends Lori, Jack, and Corey engaged in conversation and enjoying themselves. Little did anyone know that this night would take an unexpected turn for Luke, who usually preferred blending into the background rather than standing out, suddenly finding himself in the spotlight. Luke's quick wit and humorous anecdotes had everyone laughing uproariously.

In no time, he became the life of the party while people eagerly gathered around him to capture moments through photographs. Britney couldn't help but be taken aback by Luke's sudden transformation in demeanor. She nudged Lori discreetly and whispered incredulously, "Can you believe it? It's like Luke has become an entirely different person tonight!" Observing Luke intently from a distance, Lori couldn't shake off a nagging feeling that something was amiss.

She furrowed her brows as she constantly noticed a mysterious individual by Luke's side. Unable to contain her concerns longer, Lori approached her friends and voiced her worries. "Guys, I can't shake this feeling that something isn't right. Did any of you notice Luke's peculiar behavior and the suspicious guy he's been hanging out with since he arrived?" she asked, genuine worry etched on her face.
