Lori and Britney were seated on the worn-out couch in Agatha's living room, their faces drained of color as they shared the horrifying events of the previous evening with Jack and Corey. "We asked you guys to come over because we needed you to hear this from us and not from anyone else," Lori said, her voice filled with shock and disbelief, and she trembled slightly.

Britney nodded solemnly, tears welling in her eyes as she hugged herself tightly, trying to ward off the cold that seemed to have settled over her since the incident. Jack and Corey exchanged concerned glances, mirroring the seriousness of the situation.

"What happened?" Jack asked. Lori took a deep breath, preparing to relive the nightmare again.

"Luke... Luke tried to strangle me," she began shakily.

"And Britney... Britney had no choice but to stab him."

The weight of each word hung heavily in the air, carrying with it the burden of their shared trauma. Corey's eyes widened in shock, his mouth falling open in disbelief.

"Is he... is he...?" he trailed off, unable to voice the question that lingered like a dark cloud. Lori nodded tearfully.

"He's dead," she whispered, feeling a shiver run down her spine at the finality of those words. She was still digesting the fact that, that encounter with Luke was her last memory of him. The thought of a world without him didn't sound right to her. Britney buried her face in her hands, overcome by guilt.

"I didn't mean to... I didn't want to...But I had no choice," she sobbed uncontrollably as her trembling fingers muffled her words.

''But something was wrong with him. He was acting different. He wasn't himself!'' Added Lori. As Jack and Corey tried their best to console their friends, Lori's phone suddenly rang, breaking through the heavy silence that enveloped them all.

Corey narrowed his eyes when he saw Luke's name boldly displayed on the caller ID screen.

''Are you guys sure that he's dead?'' asked Corey.

''Yeah,'' responded Lori.

"Wait... if he's dead, then how is he calling you?" Corey asked cautiously, his tone uneasy.

Lori's hand shook as she reached for her phone, her heart pounding. She was still excited that her friend was still alive. Despite what had happened the previous evening, Lori still had a soft spot for Luke. There was still a part of her that hoped for Luke's redemption. She answered the call with trembling fingers, holding the phone to her ear as if mesmerized.

"Hello?" she whispered, barely audible over the thumping of her heart. A chill ran down her spine as she heard Luke's cold and menacing voice on the other end of the line.

"Hello beautiful. We're not done yet and I wouldn't say I like procrastination, so tell me where you are. Let's get this over and done with," he hissed, sending shivers down her spine. Lori's blood turned to ice as she realized the horrifying truth.

Luke wasn't dead and he was coming for her. Panic swept through the room as Jack and Corey exchanged worried glances, their minds racing to comprehend the nightmare unfolding before their eyes. But amidst all the fear and uncertainty, one thing remained clear, they would face it together. No matter what terrors awaited them, they stood united until the end.

Luke hung up the phone as he stood at the Saint Peter's Church entrance. The air was heavy with the weight of recent events of the six priests who were mysteriously murdered, an enigma that had struck fear and disbelief into the hearts of everyone in town. With a sharp mind and an unwavering spirit, Luke approached the crime scene with determination. Ignoring the caution tape and the warning signs, Luke sneaked into the church to scrutinize the crime scene to try and discover the new anonymous guest in town.
