Harry caught up to Draco, "Hey, what's wrong?" Harry asked putting his hand on Draco shoulder. He tried to steady Draco so they could meet eye contact.

Draco seemed shaken, his eyes were red and puffy as tears slowly rolled down his cheeks. His voice was the same almost as if he was used to this by now, "Not now Potter" he said sternly as he pulled away from Harry and continued walking. Harry knew something was definitely wrong, he'd never seen Draco in a distressed state before, and didn't want to see him in that state either. He pressed further, "What happened?".

Draco paused and looked back at Harry, meeting eye contact with him, he looked at Harry with a very emotional expression, one full of sorrow, anger, possibly even lust. Harry caught up to Draco, now standing in front of him. "Draco, it's going to be okay... please tell me what's wrong?".

Just hearing the words "Draco" come from his mouth made him uneasy now..

Draco hesitated, his gaze moved towards the ground. There was a pause in the silence between the two boys as he took multiple deep breaths to compose himself. Then, after a while of thinking Draco decided not to talk to Harry about this for multiple reasons. The main one being, from what he's read, people under the affects of love potions tend to be very aggressive or bi-plolar when told they're under the affect of a love potion, depending on the person who tells them.

Harry remained silent, his mind racing with his own thoughts and emotions while he watched Draco.

It was clear that Draco had no interest in discussing the situation, and Harry could see that but he wanted to push further. Finally breaking the silence, "Draco...?" Harry said quietly his tone full of concern and confusion. "I want to be here for you. Talk to me?". His tone was calm and understanding, and Draco couldn't help but feel a twinge of guilt, though he couldn't quite tell why.

Draco feels like he owes Harry an explanation, but doesn't know what to say, "I'm sorry," He sighs, "please don't follow me." Draco murmurs then he runs away from Harry.

Harry watched him run away, feeling guiltier the the further away he got. Something was obviously wrong, no doubt about it, but he clearly wasn't ready to talk about it yet.

Harry considered following him, but knew that would only make things worse. Draco would only push him away. So instead he decided to head back to Ron with his thoughts, hoping that he would come back to him when he was ready to talk.

He slowly made his was back over to Ron. The red head was still staring at the chess board looking very confused. Him and Draco weren't chatting for long, or at least, not as long as Harry wanted.

"Harry? What happened you were acting all weird and then you ran off, where'd you go..?" Ron asks with concern yet he feels a bit hurt.

"Oh..." Harry looks back at Ron as he sits down, wondering if he should tell him or not he decides not to, "I just saw someone... seems like they needed help" he sits back down across from Ron.

Ron sighs loudly just for dramatic affect, "I was so lonely" he sniffs, "how are you ever gonna make it up to me...?" A grin spreads across his face. Harry chuckles feeling a bit of tension depart.

"What do you want..."

"Well..." Ron leans closer to him, "I want to know who you like..." Even though he already knew he thought hearing it from Harry himself would help him overcome this 'unpleasant' news.

"I..." Harry gulps, he looked nervous and he continued to look nervous as they stare at each other without saying everything for a minute straight.

"C'mon... you've know me for so long, you can trust me"

"your right... but I don't want to tell you here." Says Harry as he looks around at the very few people, but people nonetheless. Then he glances down at the chess board, "do you want to finish our game or head to the room?".

"Let's finish our game" Ron's grin gets even wider due to the fact that now he doesn't need to let potter win.

- After the game the boys head to the dorm. Ron obviously won."

Ron throws his stuff on the floor as he plops down, sitting on the end of his bed. Harry follows closely behind, walking over to his bed, setting his stuff down as he takes his shoes off, then falls onto his bed his arms hanging off one side and his legs off the other.

Ron glances over at Harry, "So...?" He grins, "nobody's around now".

"Mmmm..." he grunts in embarrassment, "Fine, you wanna know who I like." He sits up trying to build up his confidence. Though the words can't seem to leave his tongue, he can feel his heart racing.

"It's... Draco Malfoy." He shuts his eyes tight and body tenses while his pitch raises more the closer he gets to the end of his sentence. He opens one eye and looks at Ron waiting for him to respond, "...?".

There is was... affirming all that Hermione and Ginny said. Ron was shocked because on one level he wished it wasn't true, he took a minute and composed himself.

"Woah, that's cool man. Malfoy, huh? Never would of expected that..."

Harry's body relaxed as he looked at Ron, genuinely surprised at his reaction, "Y-Your not mad.. or disappointed in me?".

"No, no, of course not" He pauses and puts a smile on his face, "why would I be? Your my best mate."

"I-" He smiles brightly, "thank you, Ron"

"Anyway... let's go play another round of wizard chess in the common room"

"Mhm.." Harry smiles, stands up, then follows Ron out to the common room.
