Love potion (ON GOING)

(Look I'm not that good at writing dramatic scenes so if it sucks I'm sorry)

Draco has been avoiding Harry for 3 days now. It's officially been a week and a half with Harry under the effects of a love potion.

Draco took a deep breath and then slowly turned around. He thought about running away but decided he needed to stay, he needed to talk to Harry. There was silence till he mustered up the courage to speak, "Yes?" He said, acting like he hadn't been avoiding him all week.

"I- um, Drac- Malfoy. Did I do something?" He said, his voice trembling. He could feel his heartbeat pound in his chest as he looked up at Draco.

Draco sighed feeling guilty and upset, he knew Harry didn't actually do something knowingly, he didn't deserve to be treated this way.

"No, no you didn't," Draco replied, his tone much more composed than Harry's.

"Then, why, why are you avoiding me?"

"I-" Draco searched for the right words, still not knowing what to say he decided to no longer avoid the bigger question, "Potter. Do you like me?"

Harry gulps and goes silent, he's speechless. He opened his mouth to speak but no words left him. 

"...Is that why you're avoiding me?" He tried to change the subject without technically answering.

"Potter, answer the question."

"Would it be a problem if I did?" Harry said defensively and he could feel himself tear up slightly due to his nerves. He could hear Draco sigh and for a second it sounded like he was also tearing up.

"Yes, it wouldn't be anything but a problem." Said Draco bluntly trying to keep composure.

Harry felt his heart burn as he let out a quick whimper of pain. A quick shimmer of pink crossed his eyes and Draco's eyes widened slightly.

- 2 days later -

Every day Harry seemed to look more and more tired. Ron started to worry so did other people who noticed he'd been acting off but they didn't bother to say anything.

Not many words had been spoken between the two since then, only the bare minimum. They finished their project and made an A minus.

Ron tried to cheer him up while still acting like he didn't hear what happened from Hermione. Hermione was the only one Harry told maybe it was cause she saw him in the hallway that day?

Draco didn't seem to care, at least on the outside, he did seem to be quieter than normal.
