You stood in the Quidditch stands as the storm clouds grew more and more grey overhead. The wind had picked up, and you wrapped your boyfriend's red and gold scarf tighter around your neck, determined to watch him play.
Being in his fifth year, Harry had grown to become one of the best Seekers Hogwarts had seen in years. You felt pride as you watched him zoom around the skies, far ahead of his opponent.
That's when you felt the first drops of rain on your forehead. The crowd amongst you groaned at the weather, but stayed to watch the match nonetheless. You yelled words of encouragement to Harry.
"Come on! Come on, Haz! Fly faster; reach!". Harry was just missing the snitch, when he suddenly face bombed straight onto the ground. "Harry!"
You sprinted down to the field, ignoring the rain as it got heavier. Harry was lying on his stomach, his left hand clutching the snitch. You ignored it, kneeling down and touching his back. "Harry? Harry, are you okay? Oh please be okay".
His glasses were near his body, not cracked or broken, just wet with raindrops, caked with mud. He reached for them.
"Oh, Harry, you're okay!", you dusted off his glasses and handed them to him before helping him sit up. Harry held up the snitch, causing the Gryffindor crowd to go wild. Cheers and applause erupted from the stands.
Harry shielded his eyes from the rain, giving you a sheepish look. "Did it work?" He asked.
"Did what work?"
"My attempt to impress you".
You laughed and kissed his temple, to which he smiled and helped you up. "Maybe I can impress you at the next match I win"
"You already impress me"
Harry beamed and threw his arm around you whilst walking to where his team was celebrating. "You're soaked. I'd give you my jacket, but.." he trailed off. You only laughed. Harry's voice grew softer. "You didn't have to stay, you know".
His arm still around your shoulders, you connected his fingers with yours, eventually finding shelter. "I'd never miss my man in action", you replied.
Harry kissed your head twice before going off to change.
