[JOHN B'S NARRATION] Elias Brooks. God... where do I even start?

[CAMERA PANS to a brunette sitting on SARAH CAMERON's boat, along with TOPPER and RAFE CAMERON. A beer is in his hand and sunglasses cover his eyes.]

[JOHN B.] Elias Brooks, otherwise known as the Kook Prince. Basically, common enemy number 1 for everyone on my side of the island. He's the son of Alexander Brooks, who's some hot-shot lawyer on the mainland. His mom's an ex-model, who, in my opinion, could do way better.

[CAMERA SWITCHES to ELIAS with SARAH CAMERON. The two are walking on the beach and laughing about something ELIAS said. ]

[JOHN B. ] He's best friends with Sarah Cameron, because of course he is. The Kook prince and princess. You'd think they were dating by first glance, but they have both made it very clear that it's "Never gonna happen."

[CAMERA CUTS to ELIAS smoking a cigarette in his car.]

[JOHN B. ] I don't know him well. He's kind of an enigma. Sure, he knows a bunch of people, but the only person I've seen him talk to (and actually enjoy) is Sarah. Of course, that could be all apart of his 'Nonchalant Rich Asshole' vibe. But, to be honest, I think it's more than that. I mean, have you seen him talk to Pope?

[ELI IS laying on his bed, POPE sitting at his desk. He's throwing a pillow in the air as they go over 'Cell Communication'. He laughs at something Pope says.]

[JOHN B.] You see, Pope used to tutor Elias. Pretty sure it was for AP BIO, or something. Pope never went into detail about it. Which was surprising, since it's Pope. I mean, he's always talking about science and dead bodies. I think I have an idea, though.

There was one day last year, where Pope came back from Figure Eight, looking distraught. I mean, wrecked. He told us he had a session with Elias earlier that day. So, immediately, we all thought he did something. Pope wouldn't tell us what, though. He just said to, "leave him alone." JJ didn't want to, because, he's JJ. After an insane amount of prying, and Pope not letting up, we all let it go. Well, maybe not Kie.

All I know is, after that, they haven't spoken. Not a word. They both look miserable, so I'm 100% sure that whatever they had going on, wasn't just tutoring.
