I was giggling while writing this one idk why

I slowly opened my eyes the next morning, praying that everything that had happened last night was a dream. I looked around, and upon seeing boy band posters, VHS tapes, and Wally's bright red flip phone, I knew it, unfortunately, wasn't. I buried myself in the blanket not wanting to wake up.

I only slept for 30 more minutes before feeling a flick on the nose. "Ow, Seriously? You couldn't wake me up in any other way?" I said tiredly as I slammed my head back down into the pillow. Wally snickered, already out of bed. "Didn't want to." Annoyed that I wasn't moving, he smacked his pillow onto my face. "Wake up. Do people sleep late in the future or something?"

I grumbled as I stayed in the sheets and looked at the clock. "It's only 9:00 on a weekend, meanie." Wally groaned as he rubbed his eyes. "I want to sleep in too, but I sadly made plans. If I had been smart and hadn't, you wouldn't see me on my feet until 10:30, thank you." I sighed, relieved.

"Phew, I thought you were going to be an annoying roommate who woke up crazy early." Wally laughed. "Me? Never. I need my sleep." That caused me to smile. This situation wasn't all bad, At least the person I was crashing with made my stay tolerable. I quickly frowned again, wanting to stay in the warm bed. "I still don't want to get out of bed. Why do I have to care about your plans?"

Wally raised his eyebrows. "Because they're coming over here. It would be a very bad situation out of context to see a random girl in my bed asleep one morning, now wouldn't it?" I got flustered as a shiver sent down my spine.

The situation was bad enough, but hearing someone else talk about it out of context gave me nightmares. I sprung out of bed. "It's embarrassment that motivates you? I'll keep that in mind." he smirked. I let out a quick annoyed sigh. "Im not embarrassed, I just know that this situation would be quite a sight out of context. I don't want to be or cause trouble to you."

Wally turned slightly pink. "You can't be more trouble than you already are, so don't worry." He then froze, as I was still in my outfit from yesterday. "What are you going to wear?"

I stopped moving after standing up and out of bed. We both panicked.

"I need to call my mom and friends and explain everything, then we can talk About my house and my other belongings. They can transfer the earnings to my account so I can buy clothes, food, and soonly my own shelter." I said quickly.

Wally nodded rapidly, clearly concerned about the whole thing. "Do you think service will even work? And do you have enough money for clothes right now?" he said, panicked. I nodded. "I should have enough, but I'm not looking forward to buying a whole new wardrobe. I hope we can sell my clothes fast. And, I gotta try. It's my only hope." I groaned. Today was already starting out awful.

"Calm down, it's just clothes." He assured me, but I couldn't tell whether he was being sarcastic or not. I didn't have it in my system to sass him about his slightly offensive comment. "I should cancel my plans..." He said, knowing I was worked up and this was likely going to be a mess.

"No, don't. I don't want to be a trouble to you, remember? I'll just go into a coffee shop and work on this whole thing." He nodded. "Thank you, but don't forget that I can. I don't want to, but I can." He said, before pausing and looking at me with concern. "You think that you won't get any funny or suspicious looks walking into a public building with your 'iPhone?" He asked.

I smacked my face. Of course. "I can already tell that I hate when you're right."

"Well don't, 'cause I just saved your butt from getting reported or something else."

I rolled my eyes. "I just couldn't think because I was frantic alright?" I said with heavy annoyance. He glared at me and raised his hands in the air. "I guess I won't let you borrow my flip phone then," he said in defense with a smile.
