Hi. In case you couldn't tell, I deleted all the art that wasn't mine (except for one exception) in this fic. Bloodred has recently announced that they are taking a break from the fandom, which I completely understand. I don't want to add onto the problem by reposting art, even if it's at a very small scale. I don't want to cause trouble to red because they are amazing and this guy is amazing and I don't want to make them feel unsafe or unwanted. I know I'm just a small fanfic and artist but I still don't want to add onto the problem of this fandom for them. In this chapter there is a very brief kissing scene before it's cut. I've seen some, while I joke about it, kinda gross fics on here about reboot that slightly give me the ick cuz they disregard the creators boundaries and that rubs a bit the wrong way. I didn't skim over it because I'm mad at writing making out scenes (I could actually write a very yummy one if I wanted to), it's because of the creator and their limits already being pushed. Ty for understanding, this is not going to change my fic in any way besides that element, but if the creator themselves explicitly says no fanfiction I will take this down. Just wanted to update y'all on that and why I did that. Continue on.

Wally POV: I turned off the car and ran into the house in the early December afternoon. I slammed open the door and almost ran upstairs to our bedroom. Was she still even there?

Our POV: I sat on the bed drawing Wally. He had talked in his journal entry about wanting to be a human, and I just couldn't help myself but to draw him as one. I imagined he would still be taller than me, but I was 5'5 in my human form and 4'2 in my Puppet version, so I imagined Wally would be around 5'8.

It was weird to see him with a nose and teeth, but he looked... really nice. He looked nice either way, but seeing him in the format that i've been used to my whole life was truly an eye opener. If I had seen human Wally out in public back at home, I would have surely at least blushed.
I couldn't help but make his teeth a bit sharper than a usual humans, which was just a habit in my art. I didn't know how his hair and eyes would translate, so I mainly kept them the same with his hair being a slightly more muted blue for hair dye, But I just couldn't imagine him without his infinitely gazing lavender eyes. There was always contacts.

In the corner of my sketchbook, I even colored him next to a Doodle of human, or I guess regular, me. He looked so natural next to me in that drawing, I stared at it for too long after I finished it. He was easy enough to get lost in from memory today and an actual drawing of him in front of me made it worse.

That journal entry was right though. If he was in my human world we would probably live a normal life since his issues are rooted in him being a puppet. He could show himself being loving and sincere without the other less lovely side.

The drawing of human Wally stared back at me, as if it was telling me that it was a sign. In some alternate universe, Wally was just in my dimension and we were just a regular two. No drama.

I longed for that, as much as I knew it wasn't true. I was lucky enough he even existed.

I heard a knocking, almost banging on the door. There was only one person that could be... but it was 1:20 Pm. Wally usually got home around 8, as brutal as it was. The schedule of an actor was just that. He woke up at 6 and got home at 8.

I didn't even ever realize it until I got close to him, he always had faint or apparent eye bags. They oddly fit him and I actually found them one of his physical differences that made him even more beautiful. What would usually make me have to wait another 7 and a half hours he was already home, which definitely threw me off guard. "C-come in?" What happened on set that made him come home this early?

I heard the door hinges squeak as the warm yellow hand opened the door. It was indeed Wally, I'd recognize those eyes anywhere. There was a silence once the door opened and we met each others eyes. Neither of us knew what to say to get the conversation started.
