It was after that day that we finally started getting into a routine of sorts. We even got the groceries. Almost 2 weeks had passed before I found a nearby company that was hiring. Turns out, it was a lot less harder than expected to get a new job in the past time period. When I talked to the hirer for my job field, they of course thought I was insane.

But, i had a witness. Wally. He explained in detail how he found me and to prove it was true, even showed the person my new tech. They looked at us both in skepticism. "This all sounds ridiculous, Mr. Darling."

Wally sighed. "I know, but I was there to see and experience it. If you don't want to believe it thats fine with me, we'll just find somewhere better for Y/N." He scoffed and took my hand. Just as we were about to exit, The person raised their eyebrows at the gesture, before saying, "...You're hired. Just try to explain more to us later, be warned that if you weren't so close to a celebrity and had him as your witness, we would still think your crazy."

"I know." I said quietly, but I was containing excitement. I smiled happily at Wally and gave him a thumbs up, which was his cue to leave. He flashed a smile at me back before he silently shut the door.

The person started explaining everything about the job, but I was just so overjoyed that I finally had something to do other than just hang out with Wally and occasionally Julie and Sally that I wasn't listening too closely.

I had hung out with them a few times after, and they were still our number one shippers. I willingly hadn't told them about our agreement, the moment in the rain, Or the many other kisses on fingers heads and cheeks. In a way, it had become our inside joke. Wally was a unconditional simp and I faked to play along. It made us both hysterical laugh. There was also more tender moments, where Wally would vent to me and i would tell him about I still missed Home. We were real and there for each other in those moments.

But... He still hadn't introduced me to the rest of the cast yet. Weird. It wasnt like hanging out with him all day and running errands was a horrible thing, but it had been lonely once the weekdays started up and he had to shoot the show. It was only Wednesday, and without my 2020's tech and media, I was starting to get a little impatient.

They went on, until they finally stopped speaking. "So do you want the job?"
I calmly smiled and shook their hand, trying to not squeal. Wally had done quite the damage in only a little over 2 weeks, as I was a lot more bubbly than usual. I normally would be more professional with this.

"Yes. I'm very honored to work in this space." I cleared my throat, trying to get back into the business appearance. I was wearing nicer clothes that I had gotten with Wally, but I still felt like 2000s Rainbow leopard print barf inside. Damn it Wally.

"We're honored to have you here. Someone from the future and close friends with a celebrity is surely going to help this office grow, Not to mention your previous business experience."
I confidently nodded. "I'll do my best." I walked out of the office with a sense of security. Things were going to go back to normal, well, as normal as they could get.

I haven't even tried to find a way back home yet. Mom called me yesterday saying that they're going to start tidying up my house before putting it up for sale, and With most of my things being gone there was little reason to return anymore. I missed it, yeah. There was still my family, my few friends at home, and my modern media and tech... But this place had Wally. I didn't even want to call him a reboot. He didn't deserve that title, as I knew it made him feel second best every time he heard it.

I saw him leaning against his car in the distance, and he gave me a casual wave. I felt myself beam.

Corny but glamorous, dazzling to the eyes and heart, hilriously charismatic and comforting, that was Wally.
