Marie smiles happily as she walks into the bar. She had decided to go out after nightfall. It was dark enough out and she made her way to a booth. Bill will be a bit fine with it as long as she behaves. Marie had more than enough money to pay for some food. Marie opened her mind up to the people around her, she was still able to read minds.

'Wow, that little lady is something.'

'Lord please let me just have one drink tonight

'Who the hell does she think she is, dressed like a 1950s housewife'

"Hey there!" A voice comes from not her mind but the real world.

"Hi!" Marie says looking at the menu in her hands.

"I am Sookie, I will be your waitress, what can I get you started with?" She asks.

Marie looks at Sookie. 'Wow, she is really pretty.' Marie thinks in her head.

'Not nearly as stunning as her.' Sookie thought to herself.

'Hehe, she should not sell herself short.' Marie thinks. 'Women these days compare themselves too much to each other.'

'What?' Sookie thinks.

'Did she just read my mind?'

'Wait!' Marie says excitedly lighting up. 'You can read minds too!'

'Oh My Lord.' Sookie thinks.

"Oh, it's so nice to meet you," Marie said smiling as she suddenly stood up and hugged Sookie.

"My name is Marie, Oh it's so nice to meet someone else like me hehe." She let out a giggle as others turned toward them. It was an odd sight

"Oh I have so much to ask, but first, what would you like to start off with?" Sookie asks grinning.

"A Burger and Milkshake," Marie says and sits down like a lady She is so excited this never happened before!

"Oh- uhm, sorry hah, I don't think we have milkshakes."

"Oh- uhm-" she said as she motioned for Sookie to lean down Sookie complied. "You have any of that true blood? You can pour it in a glass it'd look like wine" She whispered as spoiled eyes widened.

Oh, my stars it's a vampire. In the bar. Right now. In her section.

"Oh my god you're-" she bit her lip before realizing she didn't have that either.

"I'm sorry, we don't have any.."

"Oh- that's okay. Can I just get a ginger ale then?" She asked smiling.

Sookie was shocked vampires could eat. But she was just excited.

Sookie put in the order and went to Sam. "Sam you would not believe this, but I think that girl is a vampire." Sookie whispers

"Didn't she just order food?" Sam asks.

"Yeah, but I don't know if she asked for true blood." Sookie continues. "She also reads minds like me, we talked in each other's head."

Sam was a bit confused but he knew Sookie would not lie about this. "Let me talk to her." He says walking over.

He walked over to her confused, trying to not draw too much attention as she was humming along to one of the songs as she looked through the rest of the menu.

"Excuse me?" He asked as she hummed and turned around, looking up at him with big eyes

"Oh!" Her cheeks went a small shade of pink as the man looked at her. He was so handsome. In her youth, she would have loved to get a milkshake with him and go into a drive-in movie!
