How They Met

They headed back home to clean up the house a bit more, then they made it back, Once close to the bar, Bill's eyes went wide and he ordered Marie to stay put. Then he attack The Rattrays, looks like they came to kill Sookie. Once they were taken care of Marie and Bill looked at Sookie.

"Bill!" Marie cries out. "We have to save her!"

I grabbed Sookie, picking her up to get her somewhere safer as Marie ran after me, but it took her a little longer to get to me, still faster than a human at least.

"I can't feel my legs." Sookie whimpered as Marie looked at her I worried before lifting her wrist and biting down into her own wrist and holding it above Sookie's mouth.

"Drink it, hurry, the wound won't stay open for long cher." She said as Sookie tried to pull away.

"I don't want to be a vampire." Sookie whimpered.

"You won't be!" Marie says. "I promise."

Sookie fought against her and Marie ended up forcing her, As soon as Sookie had a taste, she did not stop she drank greedily from Marie's arm. Marie strokes her hair gently.

I was a bit worried, Marie's blood was a bit different, it was more addictive to humans than normal vampire blood. It's almost like a mix of V and ecstasy.

"It's alright...It's alright..you're gonna be alright.." she muttered as her cuts began to heal before eventually passing out as I grabbed Marie's arm, looking at it. It was still bleeding.

She wasn't feeding enough.

I lick at the blood on her arm, I can't help myself, better to get it off of her so she doesn't attract anything else.

"Don't you drain me again Bill Compton..I ain't gonna be coming back a second time." She laughed.

"You have not been feeding enough. I do not think that the bottle blood can sustain you as well as a human." I say and she looks at me.

"I don't know." She admits.

"Hmmmm." We need to get electricity running so we can get blood bags for you." I say and she nods her head.

"Yeah." She agrees.

She leans down and slowly starts to lick the blood off of Sookie's head.

That's because Marie isn't really drinking true blood cause it tastes like shit lmao

Sookie let out a noise, showing she was awake.

"Sookie," Marie said relieved.

"Do... I taste different from other humans?" Sookie asks.

"That's what you wanna know after coming back from the edge?" Marie laughed.

"But yes, you do."

"What are you?" I ask.

"Well, apparently I'm not dead. What I am is telepathic. I can hear people's thoughts." She tells me.

"Even mine?" I ask, she is like My Marie.

"No. I can't hear you at all. You have no idea how peaceful it is after a lifetime of ... blah, blah, blah." She says then looks to Marie. "I can't hear her thoughts either, but somehow we can communicate with each other when we both are focused on it. That is why I like Marie so much, I never met anyone like me."

Marie smiled at that and looked at Bill She learned to ignore listening to people after decades of doing it she got good at it.

"May I ask something?" Marie asks. "Something personal."
