I can't tell you when I fell asleep exactly, as the lead-up to that moment is forever lost from my memory. All I know is I am now awake on the couch, except with a blanket on. I could've been in such a daze last night that I don't remember putting it on, but I really can't remember much from then. It's honestly quite annoying, and I can feel myself getting more and more bothered at my inability to recall any events.

Just now, I hear a door open down the hall. Out comes Thor, looking anything but Mighty. He's clearly just gotten out of bed, his hair as messy as mine probably is, and his eyes are owners of large, dark bags. His baggy shirt and sweatpants are all crumpled and creased, but it looks pretty hot if you ask me.

He lets out a big, crackly yawn, his gaze slowly scanning his surroundings, before eventually landing on me. I smile at him cheerfully, the mask hiding the true exhaustion that's always lingering, especially in the mornings. He smiles back warmly, carefully thudding over to join me on the couch.

"Hey, Thor! How was the mission?"

"Same as usual, we got back pretty late."

"Then why are you up already?"

"It's two in the afternoon, Den Spesielle," Thor gives me a slightly concerned look.

"Is it really?"

"It is. Why are you on the couch? Did you take a nap here?"

"No, I fell asleep here last night. I was up too late doing paperwork apparently."

"Oh. I see. Well, anyway, it's about time we get something to eat. Care to join me?"

"I'll see what we have. I'm usually not hungry right when I wake up, so I'll have to really like what I'm eating to be in the mood."

Thor curtly nods his head, and I take a big stretch before following him down the hall. He stops for a moment at Loki's door and knocks three times.

"Come out and socialize, Brother. I didn't bring you here so you could shut yourself in your room some more."

There is no response, just light shuffling noises from inside the room.

"Good enough," Thor grumbles, still waking up.

We continue to head down the hall, and Thor lazily presses the elevator button. Once we get down, he drags his feet to the kitchen island.

"Was it really that bad last night? I thought you Gods didn't get tired easily."

"And I thought you knew I'm in a weird daze when I wake up."

"Ah, yes, how could I forget?" I roll my eyes.

I slide along the tiles with my fuzzy socks and abruptly stop myself at the counter with my hands. I reach open the cupboard and lean to the side as Thor reaches up to the highest shelf and grabs two boxes of cereal. I shut the door and slide to the fridge. I pull it open and grab the 2% milk.

Thor has already poured the separate boxes of cereal into two bowls. Mine, being Froot Loops, and his being Corn Pops. Usually, I have Corn Flakes but we just ran out yesterday.

I slide over to the island, fully cherishing and enjoying my slippery socks. I begin to pour the milk into our bowls, remembering to drown Thor's cereal because he seems to prefer it soggy.

Although I find it a bit odd, I've learned from my mistakes and would never challenge Thor when it comes to how he enjoys his food. I'm just happy he isn't chowing down on the Poptarts.

We sit down on either side of the island, the boxes and milk still on the counter. We sit comfortably in silence for a few bites as our minds finish waking up.
