The diary

Bailey's POV

I woke up and got in the shower I kinda felt like crap. I honestly didn't want to go to school today I put on a pair of black leggings and a black tank top. I went into my room and grabbed a red and black flannel around my waist. I threw on my converse and I applied my make up. I walked out into the kitchen and grabbed some cereal. after I ate I headed towards the door. my mother yelled from upstairs "bailey honey is that you? I'm taking you to school today!" I hurried and snuck out the door and down the street. instead of going to school I walked to Central Park it was empty. I sat on a bench by the lake and grabbed my diary I was writing when i heard a deep voice say "miss shouldn't you be in school?" it startled me and I looked around wondering where the voice was coming from. i looked around and then I seen a shadowy figure about 20 feet away near the big oak tree. "who are you?" I asked he stepped closer and I recognized him it was Tyler. he came and sat by me on the bench he said "why aren't you in school?" I said "well... why aren't you in school." he pulled out a piece of paper that said excused. Looked closer and said "doctors appointment?" he said "yes." we sat and talked for hours and then I realized that it was 5:00 at night I was supposed to be home at 3:45. I looked at Tyler and said "oh my gosh, I have to leave!!" I stood up and ran I got about halfway home when I realized I don't have my diary. I started to flip out and panicking. I ran back and looked on the bench and it was gone. I ran home and walked in the door. My mother was standing there she had her arms crossed and said "the school called and said you weren't there then you were supposed to be home by 3:45 and you weren't there." I said "sorry." and she yelled "sorry isn't good enough your grounded which means no leaving this house without permission." I looked at her and said "so I need permission to go to school." she frowned and said "yes and I'm taking you." I said "whatever so im like double grounded." I stomped into my room and slammed the door. could my day get any fucking better. I sat on my bed and cried.

The next day I woke up and I looked into the mirror my eyes were red and and I looked like a damn zombie. I threw my bangs all the way in front of my face and put on a beanie. I grabbed an oversized hoodie and some blacked ripped jeans. I when downstairs and got in the car my mom was taking forever. I honked the horn and yelled "hurry up!" she finally came out and we just rode to school of course I was late. I walked in to mr.Collins and they were presenting I ran to my seat and sat down. A piece of paper came flying across the room and landed on my desk I opened it and it said :
Hey
I hope your having a good day my day just got better now you're here

I smiled and held the note in my hands. I thought maybe things are turning up. I looked over at Tyler and he smiled at me I smiled to and knew this was the start of something new. I snapped out of my daze when I seen Mckayla came to the front of the class and said "I did my project on the high school losers with this diary I shall give you what's going on inside one of the biggest loser's mind." she smiled and looked at me I didn't even know what to do or think. she continued

"Dear Diary,

The bitch strikes again she got Me caught when I came in late and she mad a joke about my clothes. the whole class started laughing even Tyler. I wanted to cry right then but I can't not in front of her she'd hold it above me till I die. I can't believe Tyler laughed he usually doesn't bother getting involved at all, but he's been hanging with her clique lately.she probably already infected him with bitchitis, my future husband can't be a complete asshole."
I was so scared and prayed she ended there but she kept going she said

"Dear Diary,

Guess what diary, he's not infected with bitchitis!! today in science I got partnered up with him and he said he thought my outfit looked good...I can't believe that and diary you won't believe this, we walked home ... together!!! yep this could be the start to a glorious relationship. me and Tyler(my future husband) forever."
she mocked my voice everyone laughed and pointed. she then flipped the page I didn't want her to read that page I froze with terror she opened her mouth and said

"Dear Diary,
Today I seen Tyler in the hall we talked about our project his smile is so perfect I couldn't believe he was talking to me. while he was talking I accidentally spaced out daydreaming about how it would feel to kiss his warm lips. he noticed that I wasn't paying attention and I said that I was just thinking about how to make our project the best but in reality I can't stop thinking about his lips and how warm it would be to be wrapped in him arms."
I looked at Tyler tears filling my eye he looked at me and his face was full of sorrow. then Mckayla said " I wouldn't have been able to do this project if it wasn't from Tyler who gave me this wonderful diary. I looked at Tyler now tears streaming down my face he looked and me and mouthed "let me explain." his eyes filled with pity, I got up and ran out of the class.i ran into the the janitors closet and sat in the corner and started crying I don't want to show my face any more and how was I supposed to do our project I can't even look him in the eyes. I was sitting there for about 30 minutes when there was a knock on the door I thought it may be the janitor but the the door opened it was tyler he looked Down at me and I looked up at him my eyes filled with tears and my makeup running down my face. he squatted down to so we were face to face he said "bailey please..." I stood up and pushed him to the side and ran to the girls bathroom he knocked on the door and said "bailey please I'm sorry I didn't give it to her you left it on the park bench I grabbed it to give to you and she took it out of my bag I never met to hurt you or for any of this to happen. I cracked open the door he was standing there looking so sad I don't know why but what I did next surprised me I opened the door and ran into his arms hugging him and crying into his shoulder. he squeezed me tighter and I felt so different all those feeling that negative energy just disappeared. he whispered into my ear "bailey I'm sorry." I looked up at him and he smiled at me. he handed me something I looked at it it was my diary I said "how'd you get it from her?" he said " after you ran out of the class I ran up to her and snatched it from her. I said thank you and gave him my number. then I left to walk home.
