Today you were engaged to be one,
It should not matter because our friendship has aged; still I mourn.A withering flower now drowning; as it dries into nothing.
But our friendship was worth something. My feelings never stopped,
Although when you forgot me my heart dropped. Our once vibrant laughter silenced by distance,
Now echoes haunted whispers of sweet nostalgia.
The embers of our bond now flicker in dejection,
Leaving a void within that feels impossible to repair.A droopy melody inches through the air,
A symphony of longing, of dreams turned to despair.
The whispers of your absence echo in my soul. But within the depths of this desolate hour,
I'll cling to memories like a faded flower.
