Suho:

After hearing her sobs I knew she needed someone there with her. I reluctantly cut the call and ran quickly through the neighbourhood. Her house wasn't too far but I wanted to be there for her as soon as possible. As I approached the Kang family home, I started to slow. My heart dropped seeing Soojin curled up on the stairs, her suitcase and tote bag laid strewn beside her. I carefully walked up to her, keeping my footsteps light and slow. I heard her crying silently and squatted down in front of her. She lifted up her head, tears rolling down her cheeks and her hair was a mess. It was difficult seeing her in this state. She leaned forward, hands over her face and cried into my chest. I hugged her tightly, placing my chin on her shoulder and stroking her hair. I let her cry, Soojin isn't one to typically talk about her feelings, so I stayed silent, because I knew that was all she needed in that moment.

Soojin:

I couldn't refrain myself, I leaned into Suho's touch and cried, knowing that this was my only safe place for the time being. It felt like forever before my sobs died down and my breath started to slow. I moved back to look at Suho, who had nothing but concern written all over his expression. I couldn't help but smile a little, hoping it would help the both of us. Suho and I only truly show our emotions around each other, since we were friends from childhood. It's moments like these that make me truly realise how much our friendship meant to me. "Are you feeling better?" he asked gently, wiping the tears away from my red cheeks. "It still hurts, but I'm grateful that you're here," I replied, but a sudden wave of regret washed over me, "I have no idea how I'm going to survive on my own, let alone finding a place to stay first with the amount of money I packed," I said blankly.

Suho smiled gently, "You can always come live with me, I can get pretty lonely in such a big house," he suggested. "I thought you liked being alone," I giggled. We couldn't help but laugh a little at my remark. Suho helped me up and picked up my suitcase while I swung my bag over my shoulder. "You know I can do that myself right?" I said as we started walking. "I'm aware, just trying to be helpful." "Wow, Lee Suho being helpful?" I teasingly punched his arm and he turned his head away chuckling. We walked to his house and we went inside. It was just as it was the last time I was here. Neat and spacious, very Suho. He pushed my suitcase into the living room and turned to me. "We can unpack later, let's get going so we can order food," he laid the suitcase down and took my bag from me which he placed on top.

I told him I would get changed first as my clothes were tear stained and my pants had blotches of makeup which has come off with my tears. He said he would change to, considering I cried on him. He went into his room while I grabbed some clothes and makeup from my suitcase and went into the bathroom. I put on a black puff sleeve blazer dress and satin black ankle strap heels with pearls and bows. I brushed and curled my hair again then switched out my pearl barrette with a black bow hair clip in a half up half down hairstyle. I kept my pearl earrings, necklace and bracelet and redid my makeup like before. After spraying on the vanilla perfume once again I went back to my suitcase and picked out a black clutch bag with a pearl handle.

I went back to the bathroom to check that everything was in order. I turned to leave and saw Suho leaning on the doorframe, smiling. He wore a black button up shirt and black trousers. He carried a black blazer in his hand. His hair was slightly styled and he had on a mango cologne. "Looks like we accidentally matched," he said. I jokingly rolled my eyes, "Why do you look like you're about to go on a date and what's with the blazer if you're not going to wear it?," I huffed while brushing past him. "We're welcoming a new student why not look good? The blazer is for in case it gets cold," he turned away from the bathroom and put on black dress shoes, " Plus you're the one to talk you look like we're going to some fancy restaurants," he said. I sighed and headed for the door, Suho following me out.
