Morning has arrived, the birds are singing and welcoming the sun. The gentle swaying of the leaves in the wind did not disturb Adam's two children who were curled up in a thick blanket. The light that filtered through the gaps in the curtains was ignored as one of them groaned as he snuggled further into the warmth of the embrace.

The two of them remained motionless, continuing to sleep which felt like a shame to miss after previously spending almost all night awake without feeling sleepy. Ignoring the knock from someone behind the door, over time, one of them couldn't help but open his eyes even though he was still feeling sleepy.

As if by intuition, the knocking stopped. It really bothered someone with his pitch black hair beyond the shadows that now awoke with faint wrinkles on his forehead.

"What the hell?" he muttered, sighing softly.

He woke up, but suddenly fell silent when he felt the warmth of someone's body pressed against his. Messy soft red strands scattered across his chest, blocking his vision, which momentarily widened his eyes before finally realizing that he had slept with his soulmate last night.

"Right, how could I forget?" he said as he dropped his head back onto the pillow after previously lifting it with the intention of getting out of bed. However, because Cale was curled up in his arms, he thought better of it and chose to stare at the ceiling of the young noble's room.

Correct. Last night, after the two of them had completely confirmed that they had bonded, the red-haired young man took him back to his residence.

Of course, it was done secretly. It was absolutely impossible for Cale to bring a foreign man half his age through the main doors of the Henituse residence. It was certain that the guards would make a fuss and the most terrifying thing was the possibility that he would be beheaded by the cruel killer, Ron Molan who worked as the Head Waiter. Just thinking about it made the hairs on his neck tingle like crazy.

"The first thing I need to know now is what date is this?"

Considering that he didn't know what day he had moved, of course there was a possibility that the cruel butler was still at the Henituse residence even though he expected otherwise, but, judging from how Cale's condition was 'still' fine, the possibility was the former.

"Then, I have to prevent Cale from getting beaten by Choi Han."

Looking back at Cale who was curling up more and more in his arms, Rok Soo thought it would be a problem if this little bastard got beaten up.

No. It wasn't that he was afraid of feeling the same pain but, his own gut feeling told him that the well-being of the people around the redhead would be at stake. For some reason, he felt like he would destroy anything if something happened to the redhead.

A strange feeling he didn't know was writhing in his heart which... if disturbed, would cause something undesirable to happen.

"That's why, I have to make sure that Cale doesn't get hurt."

Now Rok Soo started to think about it. As far as he knew about himself, he had never had an interest or inclination towards anything, especially anyone. Even when he was thrown into a different world from the one he came from, he was still able to remain calm.

It's true, the acceptance of this strange, yet familiar, new world is enough to make him amazed at himself for adapting too easily. Was it because he was used to unexpected circumstances? Or is it because he doesn't care that he easily accepts it? Either way, he didn't want to think about it because he just lived as he was.
