FAMILY REUNITED

next day 11 am

jen began to wakeup and move but suddenly all the event from the last night came rushing back and she eyes welled up again but she decided not to cry and face it. she straight up got up to get a shower.

once she was done with her getting ready ,she decided to go down stairs and check up what was going on. she went o the main door and noticed a couple of shoes firstly she was confused but as she started walking closer to the dining hall that their were 2 men sitting along with her sister and her mother. her mind instantly went back to her words she said out loud yesterday "miss Ruby Jane i want to meet your husband and your son" and now she regrets saying that.

she was not ready to accept all of these changes which her life suddenly threw at her. as soon as she was about to turn back, Sana decided to call her out as she saw her.

jen facepalmed herself meanwhile Sana got up from her sit to get jen.

"Jen relax, I'm sorry that we hurt you but please come here clear all of your doubts that you have my little one" Sana whispered to Jen.

Jen nodded her head and went inside the dining hall along with Sana.

yoonji pov

this was the first time i'm looking at my daughter knowing that she knows that I'm her father. Suddenly tears started to well up my eyes as I saw her walking. It was a very emotional moment to see my family being finally reunited.

mingyu's pov

i have always been close to Sana but when it came to Jen i have always heard about her from eomma or from Sana. I have always watched my little sister from afar, but today was the first time sitting their as her brother as a family.

author's pov

it was an emotional moment for the whole kim family as their family reunited after 20 years. Jen definitely held grudges against her sister and her mother but at that moment all she could think about was her appa and oppa.

her Innerchild felt a sense of peace knowing she has a father.

Jen got greeted by her brother and her father but she didn't know how to respond so all she could say was a "hello" in a timid voice.

suddenly everyone went very awkward so mrs kim decided to serve brunch first.

she asked the maids to bring all the dishes she prepared for her family. Mrs kim cooked everyone's favourite dishes.she was very happy that her family has reunited physically.

after eating in silence and a few conversations here and there with Jen Mrs kim decided to break the silence by apologizing to her daughter once again, this time mingyu,Sana  and Yoonji also joined Mrs Kim. After hearing them apologize Jen couldn't control and burst out crying while asking her questions "why why didn't you tell me earlier? why did you think that I am not mature enough to handle situation? how could you deprive me off my families love? How could you all not care about my feelings? and what am i supposed to do now?" said jen

this time Yoonji answered instead of rubyjane, he got up and went near Jen sitting on his knees he said "I am extremely sorry my little girl i deprived you from my and your brother's love you don't have to forgive us but please accept us, i know it is hard for you to add 2 new people to your family but my child we have loved you from afar we have cared for you from afar. if someone had a slightest bit idea that you are thee princess of Daegu then not just you but your mother and your sister ,all 3 of your would have been murdered. Never once did we doubt your maturity but my child we had no way out, your sister was not supposed to know and remember about palace and us but before of all the tings 24 years back we had to make your mother stay longer in the palace. please consider us as yours my child please" said yoonji

"I'm sorry but i need time to process everything" Jen said "it's okay jen take all your time" mingyu said. jen nodded and decided to leave the dining hall to clear her head.

yooonji pov

"Jane i really want to take you all back to the palace, but ik Jen would not agree for it so me and mingyu will stay here for a bit cause now we can't leave 3 of here alone, i just hope she agrees to go to back to daegu with us"

"yes honey, I just hope she understands where we came from" ruby jane said

author's pov 

it was evening and now Jen was at the terrace replaying everything in her head since last night to today morning. she started to understand why her parents decided not tell her and it was just destiny's play that her sister was at the age to remember everything. she could not bring herself to forgive them but she decided to atleast talk to them.

a week passed just like an hour and things were better among the siblings. three to them started to talk more and started to get comfortable just a bit.

Jen was talking less to her parents  though. now tomorrow was Jen's birthday and all of them were excited except for the bday girl herself. they all decide to wish her at 12am itself and prepare a surprise for her.
