"lets call it a night now? right" yoonji asked joon

"oh yeah, we also need to leave early tomorrow" joon replied referring to his wife and son seungcheol.

"yes appa" seungcheol said

everyone called it a night and started going to there rooms; the choi's were given a room of there own ofcourse.

just as jen was about to enter her room mingyu, sana and seungcheol asked her to come over to mingyu's room.

"aren't you three tired?" jen asked tiredly

"anni" three of them said in unison and laughed.

"okay, coming" jen laughed.

jen entered mingyu's room and was instantly met with three of them sitting on the round table. she joined them on the table while mingyu poured some wine for her in a glass. she took the glass and started sipping on the wine.

"Sooooooo.... jen how was the ball?" Seungcheol asked
"It was good, not exactly like movies in all good ways" Jen replied
" what was your favourite part about the ball?" Sana asked Jen
"Umm.... I think meeting so many new people, Like the fact I only used to see them on tv screens, magazines but now I could meet them was crazy honestly" jen replied
"Really? Whom did you enjoyed talking to most?except for ming, jisso and tzuyu" mingyu asked jen
"Why would you eliminate our cousins as an option??" Jen said
" because they are our cousins you will choose them to get away with the question of course"mingyu replied with a sly smile
"Wow" Jen said rolling her eyes at him.
" anyways jen kindly answer the question" seungcheol said
After thinking for a minute or so Jen replied
"Well...tbh I really enjoyed talking with tae oppa
He was fun" jen said smiling
"Realllyyy?? Are you sure" mingyu laughed
"Yeah" jen said confused while staring at 3 of them
"Well jen we thought you found his younger brother more fun"seungcheol said laughing
"Whose younger brother?"
Jen said not really catching up
"Tae's  younger brother of course"
Seungcheol said
" umm what?" Jen said
" junhui! You found him fun right?" Sana said
" I-" Jen froze and got awkward
3 of them laughed looking at jen
"Why are you so awkward jen" mingyu laughed
"No, I'm not, tbh there was nothing 'fun' about him accept for the fact that he's  one of the finest artists out there in the industry and also I hardly had an interaction with him" jen said confidently
"Oh really? It was more like you were tongue tied" sana said and laughed
"Why would I be tongue tied? I mean I did get a lil nervous cause yk he's like so fine.. what I mean is that is one of the top artists not just in Korea but worldwide so I was kinda amazed " Jen tried to sound confident
"Jen you were not tongue tied when talking to other princes' who are at his level ?" mingyu raised his brow
"We could see how you didn't leave his hand after the hand shake, how you were constantly eyeing in our direction, how you had a disappointed face when the ball ended JUST when you two were about to dance and how you got shy when he kissed your hand. I see you have an eye for my friend hmmm?" Mingyu said now smirking and teasing Jen
" are you right in your head oppa? You're so delusional I can't even look anywhere without you getting pressed about it and making it about yourself huh, And no I was NOT disappointed and about that kiss! It just caught me off guard, I'm obviously not used to getting my hands kissed by a prince that too a superstar whom I have admired all my high school " Jen said denying everything and getting annoyed
"Look seungcheol and I both caught you looking in the direction of our group! I'm not delusional" Mingyu said
" Guy I think she it's because she isn't it used to all of this yk, and like she said he's a very famous and high profile superstar whom girls of her age really admire so it could be that only...,"
Seungcheol replied
"Thank you so much oppa for understanding what I mean cause certain someone can't comprehend what I was trying to say" Jen said while side eyeing mingyu
" yah whatever " mingyu said annoyed by the fact that seungcheol teamed up with jen
"Okay okay stop with this banter y'all, let's sleep now shall we?  Coups (seungcheol) and I are off and Jen I think you should as well otherwise you two will prolly fight" Sana announced more like ordered
"Umm... actually you're right I have work to do tomorrow anyways I better sleep" Jen said getting up and moving towards the door
"So... I guess we gotta call it a night, gn gyu, gn Jen " seungcheol said getting up and moving towards Sana to get out the room w her.
"Bye, good night guys, dream about me"mingyu said waving from his bed to 3 of them.
"Ew" "no" Jen and Sana said at the same time
*coups, Sana and Jen got out of mingyu's room and wished night greetings to each other*
*just as Jen was about to go in the direction of her room Sana stopped her and said "change your clothes and pls wait for me I'll just see off coups and will be back in 10-15mins , DON'T SLEEP we gotta talk" Jen nodded her head waved coups as he was leaving*
After seeing off coups Sana knocked on Jen's door and entered her room when she heard a come in.
Jen was in her robe done with her night routine
"Yeah unnie what do  you want to talk about?" Jen asked curious while sitting on her bed
Sana sat on the edge of the bed , after taking a deep breathe she finally said
"So how was the ball?"
" it was good like I said earlier" Jen said nonchalantly
" so what I want  to talk about is that you have got PLENTY of offers from all sorts of brands around the globe Jen" Sana said excitedly with a big smile on her face, clearly very happy for her sister.
"I- um? What?" Jen said clearing not understanding
"Miss Jen rubyjane you have got so so soooo many offers for modelling from so many big and famous brands around the world" Sana said climbing on the bed and hugging Jen
"Omg I'm soo happy for you my lil baby" Sana said still hugging
"I didn't share this news with anyone except for you because obviously you have to tell this to everyone" Sana said
"Unnie what? WHATTT?! Are you like serious? Me finally ? Omg unnie I'm sooo happy I can't believe it" Jen said taken aback w this news
" nepotism is so real omg wow" Jen said laughing 💀
"Umm.. I will never deny that but it's okay because my sister is full of talent! You had made headlines because of your 1st cover shoot when no one knew your true identity!" Sana said giving Jen her credits aswell.
"Be ready for tomorrow okay? You have a lot of work to do, sort out the contracts with your pr team that you wanna sign, now I gotta sleep"Sana said while resting her palm on jen's face.
" my pr team? Wow I feel like celeb ngl" Jen said amazed
" you are Jen, even if you weren't a model being a princess is more than being a celeb" Sana responded
"Yeahhh.. ig I'll sleep now, I have a lot on my plate for tomorrow" Jen said excited
"I'm very grateful for everything in my life unnie and I'm most grateful to have you as my elder sister, thank you for everything" Jen said with her welled up eyes
"You're like my child Jen, I love you always" Sana replied while hugging Jen
"Good night unnie, love you too" Jen said while breaking the hug
" good night Jen, sweet dreams" sana replied and left Jen's room.

Jen got rid of her satin robe revealing her dainty and feminine night gown. She  sat near her big window and gazed at the moon which was extraordinarily bigger and brighter tonight. The world was hushed, as if it had been put to sleep by the gentle light.She sipped on her chamomile tea to distress and lit up a few candles in her room  also switched off the lights remembering to locking her door aswell.

She played some soft music in the background and again sat near her window to get some fresh breeze and gaze at the moon.
She loved this. This moment. Everything she always dreamt of as a child was her reality. She always used to gaze at the moon when she shut off everyone  that was her way to rewind and reconnect with herself.
This little session of true self care she enjoyed the most. 

the serene moonlight softly touched her smooth skin as she started writing in her journal "The moon hung low in the sky, casting a soft, silver glow over everything in sight. The world is hushed, as if it had been put to sleep by the gentle light but my mind still has these chaotic, never ending thoughts but something is different today I feel this weird excitement not.... about my work but about him"

after done with her journaling jen actually came to her senses it was like she was lost just until now.

lost in his thoughts.

was this only a fan girl moment or the start of something that never came to an end?

"did I just write a poem on a him? the fuck is wrong with me? i literally had almost zero interaction with him but omg look at me, literally acting like a fangirl."jen talked to herself

"get it together jen! you're a royal now! you cannot slip away or fangirl anymore?" jen questioned herself.

"i think there should be no problem with admiring someone? right? RIGHT, I mean of course, he is literally one of the best artists in the industry and also someone whom i have always admired for his work. " jen justified her poem writing to herself

"I'm so done overthinking this sh*t, i should prolly sleep now anyways"

jen climbed  on her bed and drew her blankets close before drifting off into the realm of dreams, not knowing what awaits for her.
