Vic was terrified as the vampire ran off with Persephone's limp body. Two other vampires were holding her arms behind her back, kicking her knee out to take her to the ground. She didn't fight them, dropping to her knees when they pushed.

"What did you do to them?" A woman demanded, yanking Vic's hair.

"My clan found out I was giving them bad information and decided to use me to get them to surrender. Emily- she poisoned them with iron," Vic answered shakily. "Please help them. I can't live without them, please," there was a smack across her face.

"Victoire," the woman scolded, glaring at the man who hit her.

"Where's Christopher?" He demanded. Vic stared at him blankly.

"Who?" She asked.

"Christopher! Christopher Beaumont! Tall, blonde, sugar-loving vampire? He followed Persephone out, where is he?" Victoire shouted. Vic winced, looking around.

"Kit- Kit's dead. He died trying to help us escape," Vic answered softly. The coven gasped, the room falling completely silent.

"Persephone- they can bring him back-" Dillion said, flipping through a strange book. "What happened?" Devin and Tara stepped forward. Eyes locked on Vic.

"Persephone tried to come get me, and I'm guessing Kit followed. They got brought in where I was chained up. Kit was staked so they didn't- they didn't tie him up. Persephone got the stake out- they weren't unconscious, they were just a little dazed, I don't understand. Iron poisoning at that level is enough to neutralize even the most powerful witches. How did they do it?" She asked, still replaying it in her mind.

"Vic," Tara snapped.

"They got his stake out and he gave them a knife but before he could break the cuffs my uncle came in, said he wanted to torture one of us. Kit volunteered. They went out together. Persephone sliced their arms open to get rid of the iron and broke me out. We- we got out, They had him chained to the wall. Emily went up and we tried to tell them to step away so we could take Kit, and that's when Emily stabbed him," Vic forced herself to get through the debrief. "We had to run. Persephone used an illusion spell on my uncle and Emily... she let us get away."

"She's telling the truth," Devin said. "You're hiding something, but everything she's said is true."

"They- they told me they came because they couldn't let me die. I told them I loved them and kissed them, and then Kit started screaming," she said quietly. "Are they going to be okay?"

"Luckily, I'm an expert at this," another witch came up, grabbing Vic's face. She pressed her thumb to her head and then pressed her head to that, Vic gasping as she managed to blast past all of the anti-magic barriers. "Iron," she whispered. "She's clean but lock her up! The other hunters are coming!" The woman shouted, pulling Vic's phone out of her pocket. She tapped Vic on the head with it. "Rookie move, dumbass."

"Fuck!" Vic shouted, panicked. "I didn't do that on purpose, I swear!" She said as the girl vampire held her tightly and moved Vic into a basement area. She was thrown roughly into a chair and tied with rope.

"You're lucky I'm not just killing you right now," Victoire spat. The man with him put a hand on his shoulder. He started speaking in what sounded like French, voice sad and quiet. The old Vic would've thought it was a ruse, false emotion to play with her own, except earlier she'd watched a vampire ignore fresh blood and put himself in danger to save someone else.

"You will not touch either Vic or Persephone," why include her? The vampires walked back out of the room, holding onto each other, and Vic just let out a breath. She hung her head, staring at the floor, trying desperately to not think about what she'd done in case the vampires were Type A, the telepathic. It didn't matter at this point, anyways, Kit was dead. Nobody needed to know the dagger had been iron.
