Persephone was doing their small morning ritual making tea and trying to focus on the day. They tried to mix the herbs focusing on their intentions and pushed past everything else they were feeling.
"Can I just fucking focus for two minutes?" They mumbled to themselves stirring the honey in their tea. They winced, running their hand through their hair forgetting it was wet after their morning shower.
"Rather early to be muttering into your tea, darling, don't you think?" Daniella asked from behind them. Persephone jumped a bit at her voice.
"Vampires are too quiet," they snorted. They turned around and leaned on the counter and sipped their tea. "I've muttered to my tea earlier than this. The coven wanted to go for a nature walk, but I'm too paranoid to leave the house's protections."
"I believe Anton, Ercole, and Victoire went as well, Anton because he's enamored with your friend, and the other two because Kit was pretending he couldn't hear them through the door earlier. What has you in such an unfocused tizzy?" She asked, stepping forward a bit.
"Lots of things. I was up late thinking, I'm worried it was the ritual that gave away our location. A magical ripple that large... witch hunters are more sensitive than I thought," they tapped their mug thinking. Daniella nodded.
"They must have some way of tracking magical energy, had I known, I would've had us leave the moment the spell was complete to come here. I was hoping to have this place fully ready before we arrived, but mostly ready is good enough, I suppose," she looked around at the large, immaculately decorated cabin with a frown. Persephone laughed.
"What all else are you missing? There's only five people that actually need to eat, hell I was just happy to see that you had marshmallows for Kit," they sipped their tea, they could feel it starting to help settle their mind.
"The training area in the basement is unfinished, and I didn't have a chance to make sure the window tint was effective enough for vampires. Thankfully, it appears to be a cloudy day, but the sun will return eventually, and the sun is what I fear the most. It can turn a vampire into nothing but a smoldering pile of ashes within two minutes, the damage irreparable after a minute and a half," she shrugged a bit, almost as if to say 'what can you do?' Persephone remembered the few times Kit ended up in the sun, the way he would start smoking nearly immediately.
"Good to know," they sighed. "What are you doing here? You could be anywhere else and I am not great company lately," they scoffed at themselves.
"Are you asking me why I am here in the kitchen talking to a brooding child, or why I am here in Colorado?" She responded, eyebrows raised.
"I'm not brooding," they mumbled.
"My apologies. Pouting child. Or do you prefer 'wallowing'?"
"First of all, rude. Second, I am not pouting or wallowing," they rolled their eyes. "I don't pout," they said quietly into their mug.
"Speak clearly, darling, and not into your mug. Would you like to talk about why your pouting, or would you like me to fuck it out of you?" She asked casually. Persephone choked on their tea and looked at her with disbelief.
"What?" They hated that they were immediately wet at the thought.
"I do believe you heard me, darling. Unlike you, I do not mumble. You also forget that I can smell it as clearly as any other vampire. Do I need to repeat myself, or are you able to answer the question?" She stepped right into Persephone's space, heels clacking on the ground sharply with each step.
"Why- I guess I'm confused as to why you offered?" They blinked. Daniella caught their chin.
"Frankly, I'm tired of letting some sexually deprived bottom run around with all of this energy. You may be enough of a top for Kit, but that boy folds like a cheap napkin when you apply the smallest amount of pressure, and sleeping with him in your current state is a terrible idea. So, if you would like me to fuck the sexual frustration out of you before we talk about why you're pouting, say 'yes, mommy' and go upstairs to your room," Persephone raised an eyebrow at her.
