Ok! I've slowly started writing this chapter.

Have you guys watched the latest episode??

I've haven't read the manga, but I know a bunch of spoilers, so I'll try to not spoil others in my book, but i will make references.
I'd also appreciate it if people reading this didn't unless they put a proper warning on their comments.

Enjoy!

3rd Pov

A reporter is heard in the background talking about the destroyed mansion which seemed to be caused by an explosion from corroded gas pipes.

But we all know what actually happened, don't we?

Suddenly, a man's voice rings out. "One of you three said they'd cast the veil themselves and left the assistant supervisor behind, don't you?"

Yaga Masamichi. First-grade Jujutsu Sorcerer.

He sits in front of the three nervous second-years and continues. "And then you forgot the veil." He finishes. "Come forward."

The two on either side of the white-haired youngster slowly point their fingers at him, while he raises his hand up in the air.

"Sensei! Why don't we stop the hunt for this culprit?!"

"..."

Nothing is said in the room as Satoru receives a hard punch to his head. (There are no braincells in there, at all)

"Is a veil that necessary in the first place?" Satoru asks as he hugs a basketball and pouts. "I mean, it's not like it matters if normies see it or not, right?"

Shoko's behind him, looking through his glasses as if she's seeing stars.

"They can't see cursed spirits or cursed techniques, anyway."

He throws the basketball to Suguru who catches it. "The strongest deterrent against the outbreak of a cursed spirit is the mental calm of the populace."

Shoko removes the glasses in the background and places the glasses back on Satoru's face.

Meanwhile, Suguru continues, "That's exactly why we have to conceal the threats they can't even see as much as possible," He goes on. "And that's not all-"

Satoru cuts him off as he steals the basketball from him. "Yeah, yeah, I get it," He says, as the launches the ball back towards the black-haired male. "Looking out for the weak is so exhausting, honestly," He groans.

"Survival of the weakest," Suguru begins. "That's how society should be. The weak help each other and discourage any who are too strong." Suguru states in a serious tone. "Listen, Satoru. Jujutsu exists to protect non-jujutsu sorcerers." Suguru throws the basketball and shoots a hoop. He doesn't look like his usual, playful self. In fact, he seems quite serious compared to his regular personality.

And Satoru notices. I mean, why wouldn't he? Suguru is, has always been, his best friend.

But Satoru being Satoru, he decides to play along and tease Suguru.

"So, is that your moral argument?" He teases. "I hate moral arguments. Assigning reasons and responsibility to strength is what those who are weak do." Satoru picks up the basketball and launches it at the opposite hoop and scores. "Quit making yourself feel better by spouting bullshit." Satoru full well knows he's not in the right here, but he wants to rile Suguru up, just because he can.

Shoko being an empath and sensing something wrong, makes a beeline for the door. "Run for it~"

Suguru, who finally seems to have lost his composure, summons a large curse. "Wanna take this outside, Satoru?" He challenges. The "crystal-eyed" male in question, lowers his glasses, further teasing his companion.

"You feeling lonely?~"
