3rd Pov

Satoru stood in front of the Star Paradise Cult's building. (He wanted to hold Megumi's hand, but the boy scratched him.)

"Nee-san, where are we?"

Bless Tsumiki, the girl was too nice for her own good, unlike her little gremlin of a brother.

"Somewhere where we might find a friend of mine's." Satoru explained, staring at the building's entrance.

The memory of killing Toji Fushiguro was still fresh on his mind, along with the fact that he held Riko's dead body in his hands.

But perhaps what hurt most of all was the bitter taste left in his mouth when the word "friend" spilled from Satoru's lips.

After all, could he still even consider Suguru as his friend?

Mentally shaking his head to get rid of his thoughts, Satoru took a deep breath and grinned down at the two kids. (Megumi gives him a side-eye, glaring at the dumbass that is now his unofficial guardian.)

"Let's go!" Satoru exclaims, this time choosing to gently hold Tsumiki's hand, and started to walk forward.

The little group hadn't even taken more than ten steps forward, when the doors to the building slammed open, and a crowd of people hurriedly surged out.

Megumi and Tsumiki, being two small kids who weren't comfortable with such a large crowd, instinctively clung to Satoru.

Satoru stood still, letting the crowd of people pass by, when he noticed something odd.

All of the people were obviously a part of the Star Paradise Cult - and therefore non-sorcerers - but they all had a strange expression of awe mixed in with fear and revulsion.

Satoru frowned, but said nothing of it.

Once the crowd had dispersed, he continued walking forward, the two children trailing behind him like little ducklings, hold each other's hands.

Megumi spoke up as they walked down the hallway of the building.

"Who were all those people?"

"Cult members." Satoru replied bluntly, slightly distracted.

He didn't notice Megumi's look of disbelief, and Tsumiki's look of confusion.

Suddenly, the teenager stopped.

In front of him, were two girls seated on a row of chairs. One of them had muddy blonde hair, tied up in a little bun, while the other had black hair, styled in a bob.

Noticing Satoru, Mimiko, the young girl with black hair, hid beind her sister, Nanako, who suspiciously stared at at the taller boy.

Tsumiki was completely lost, but she noticed that the girls, possibly siblings (Correct, Tsumiki, there are siblings), were perhaps around Megumi's age.
