21. Ruby's pov ❤️

What happened, everything is black, everything....is...black.

I'm waking up to voices, the first thing I notice is that none of it belongs to my mates, I can barely feel Allison's presence, and that's probably because we're in the same bed. I can't however feel Katherine's presence either, I know Allison is still unconscious, so I'll just follow her lead.

When I woke up, I think an hour later, I could feel sparks on my left hand. I opened my eyes, and just like that I was in little space again. But I can't be, I need to talk to Katherine and Allison about what happened.

The first person I saw was daddy, she looked confused, and I guess a little worried, then I looked at Allison, she was still passed out. So I did the only logical thing in my case and jumped on my human mate.

She hugged me while I cried, rubbing my back and saying the only sweet thing she knew, that everything is okay, I'm safe and nothing is going to happen to me again.

I guess my sobbing woke up my other mate, and I jumped to her as well, and she did the same thing. But something about the room was off.

Daddy was analysing us, watching every spec of movement we made. And I think mommy noticed, "what happened while we were gone?"

"You mean kidnapped?" This is no time for sarcasm Ravenna. "That's not important, what is important is that your okay, your vitals seem impossibility normal, and the effects of the silver aren't permanent, the marks on your skin seem to be gone, and your conscious finally after 3day, which adds to the 3days you were missing, so let's just say it's been a long week." Replied the doctor, before he walked out of the room excusing himself.

Daddy was still staring at us. Like she didn't know what to say or do. It shouldn't be news to me, I know this, she's naturally like that, and I don't think just having mates would change that, and I think mommy knows that too.

Daddy advised us to have something to eat than go back to bed. We definitely didn't complain.

So we left the hospital room to get us something to eat, while Allison and I went up to her room and took a shower,
I'm slowly coming out of little space, I thanked Allison for the clothes and we just decided to wordlessly cuddled until Katherine comes back.

When she did, I felt the same, I wasn't in little space and I was grateful for that. So we ate the pasta that our mate made. When I heard Allison speak up I turned to her, "aren't you going to have any?", I turned to our silent human mate, but she just gave us a small sad smile and shaked her head. Somethings up.

"Where's Ara?, is she still okay?" She looked at me from the side of her eye, but remained silent and layed down at the foot of the bed, while Allison and I sat crossed legs at the top.

"She's still changing and unconscious, she briefly woke up earlier calling out to her mate, but she still hasn't mentioned a name." She just shrugged a reply and closed her eyes then sighed.

Me and Allison took that as our sign not to question her for now. And we finished our food, and we took a nap.

When I woke up, I was still not in little space, Katherine wasn't in the room, and Allison was standing by the door talking to her parents.
At this point it's clearly late at night. And that is when I saw the three at the door tense up.

Allison gave me a brief side look and saw I was awake. At that point I knew something was wrong. 'shit!, where's Katherine?', with that thought in mind I used my vampire speed and ran past my werewolf mate and her parents to go look for my human mate.

I followed her scent, all the way to the front of the pack house, and she wasn't alone.

Katherine was surrounded by werewolves, some from this pack and the others clearly weren't, but she looked unfazed. I watched as an alpha female walked towards my mate, upset, and clearly determined to get her way. Latina, with long straight black hair, and she's wearing shorts and a huge shirt, so she had to have shifted back and changed into what she's got on.

I ran past everyone towards my mate, and just as I stepped next to her, she positioned me to stand behind her, the female alpha was just a second to late to have grabbed me before Katherine did.

However unfazed Katherine kept eye contact with the clearly upset werewolf, "Your here for your mate, aren't you?", all she did was growl a reply, which I returned with a angry snarl of my own, flashing my canines at her for growling at my mate.

It took me a second too long to notice the missing presence of my other mate. Until I smelt her....and I'm not too sure how likely Katherine is going to take to the situation, but the alpha's head snapped in the direction of her mate, and mine.

Katherine didn't tense but she definitely sensed something, I saw her hold her hand up towards the alpha female, to stop all her advances, "Shes unconscious and still going through the transition. What you do with your mate is none of my business, however what you do to my best friend, now that I won't take too kindly to seeing her in a different condition to which she's leaving these grounds. And I can assure you, your supernatural abilities would do nothing to save you if she's anything but well and healthy the next time I see her. No pack, no power, no law, no unspoken rule, and no supernatural advantage can save you from the bullets of my gun." With that threat in place, she stepped aside to allow Allison to walk through but before she allowed Allison to hand over an unconscious Ara, she ordered the female alpha to have her pack leave the grounds, the alpha clearly didn't take too likely to be ordered by a human, so she growled in response, which Katherine replied, "Do you really think you have a choice?" And she tilted her head to the side. The alpha glared and softly growled back. But none the less mindlink her pack to do as she was told.

Once the pack left the ground, and it was confirmed that they left the packs territory, Allison handed over Ara to her mate. Katherine gave her best friend one more look before she turned to the alpha with a raised eyebrow, "what are you waiting for?, an invitation?" Katherine questioned in a clearly sarcastic tone. With that the alpha left the same way they came, when it was confirmed that the pack was far away from the territory, Katherine gave me and Allison a look and walked into the packhouse. 'shit!, is she mad!?' I exchanged a look with Allison and she looks like a little puppy with a tail in between their legs, as if she was caught doing something she wasn't supposed to, and I think her wolf feels the same way.

So I walked to my mate, gave her a peck on the cheek and we walked into the packhouse, wordlessly following the scent of our mate.

Wordless to say that Katherine was mad, and Allison had every reason to have looked the way I described her, cause she was indeed a little puppy with a tail in between her legs, because she did do something she wasn't supposed to, and her wolf was in on it.
