Chapter 4 "the Quest for truth

Argus is almost flying in the air and cutting down many of the monsters that have escaped from the huge cage that Helaena made. He couldn't believe that Creus and Helaena had gathered such a large number of moorwens below their castle. they were too many for the townspeople who were there and another thing, the townspeople are not that good to fight them.

Blood covered the floor of that arena because of the violence that was happening now between humans and monsters.

"My Son!" Helaena's mother looked for her young son.

Suddenly the teenager who was hiding in a corner  turned and looked at his mother: "Mother!!" He shouted a few feet away from his mother.

But he couldn't get close to his mother  because the fighting monsters and humans stand between them.

"Don't go out there!!" His mother said.

But not far from them,   a huge Moorwen heard the voice of Helaena's mother and it quickly ran to attack her.

Argus saw the Moorwen approaching Helaena's mother and he ran so fast that his feet barely touched the ground towards it. As light as a leaf,  Argus climbed the monster up to the top of its head and drove his sword into its back.

"Thank you very much Argus", she said.

Instead of answering, he picked her up and brought her to her son.

"Get away from this place as soon as possible", he ordered them and they immediately obeyed.

The battle is becoming unfair. If it is not stopped, everyone there will surely die. No matter how he fights, he won't be able to protect them all  because of the huge number of monsters there. He needed to make a move.

Helaena's corpse suddenly caught his eyes. What happened to her was terrible. Helaena is evil but he doesn't want this to happen to her. The person who planned the evil is the one who reaped its violence and caused the shedding of much blood of innocent people..

He looked at what was happening around. The Moorwens are very hungry and chasing after the townspeople. Some people fight while others pour their energy into running. Suddenly a plan came into his mind

"Everyone listen!!!", he shouted with all his might.

"Stop fighting!!, run as fast as you can and get away from this place!!", he shouted to the people.

"How about you Argus?, you can't fight all these monsters!",  asked the man closest to him while that man was still rushing with his ax.

"It  doesn't matter anymore", Argus replied.

"By the way, Have all the prisoners locked in the castle's dungeon been released? ", he asked to him.

"All of them.., including the surviving soldiers loyal to Creus who were imprisoned by Helaena based on what you ordered us", it replied.

"That's fine", Argus replied..

"What are your plans now?", the man asked Argus.

"Just do as I say and when you run, don't look back, just focus on moving your feet away.", he ordered. ",

The man followed his instructions and started running away from that place.

The monsters were about to chase the people but Argus immediately blocked them and immediately injured himself with his sword. His blood dripped on the ground...

When the moorwens smelled his blood it was like they were going crazy as they suddenly turned their attention to him. He led them into the castle hall. And when he was sure that most of the Moorwen were inside the castle he put his hands on the two largest pillars in that hall and with all his might and with a shout,  he tore it down. The foundations were broken because of what he did to it and the huge chunks of the castle wall gradually fell down...and he completely collapsed after that... His strength was exhausted and like a candle going out, he fell from his position and fell to the ground...
