hi guys (if theres even any of yo out there anymore) I'm really fucking sorry. I'm so lazy and i don't know why i didn't want to update. i guess i just don't really like the kinda things i put into this book, like i kind of romanticised self-harm at one point + even thinking of me doing that kinda makes me feel sick because thats making it sound a hell of a lot nicer than it actually is. I'm probably gonna write a massive a/n later so sorry in advance aha.

alex's pov

i let the crimson blush leave my face before opening the door to reveal a very tired looking luke. he looked like he hadnt slept in a year, he looked sad. i sighed and moved out the way to let him into 'my house'; he tripped on the step and tumbled into me, knocking some random pieces of unwanted mail onto the floor off of the old oak table. i chuckled at his clumsy behaviour and scooped up the letters, dumping them back into their original position.

'so, luke, why are you knocking at my door at this time?' i crossed my arms over my chest and teasingly questioned the tipsy boy.

'why not? is it passed your beddy - time, alex' he attempted to taunt me but, instead sounded like a whiney 5 year old who's mother wouldnt buy them the spiderman mask - that reminds me of the old times.

i shook my head at the thought and pulled lukes left arm over my shoulder, in an attempt to help him get to the sofa without messing the house anymore before ash got home - ash! oh god, i need to remember to get luke out of the house before he gets back. better start sobering him up now. i sighed and walked into the kitchen and got him a pint of water.

'okay you need to drink as much water as possible, it'll help with the hangover' i handed the plastic cup of water to the blue eyed boy sprawled out on my sofa, i knew i couldnt trust him with a glass.

'move your ass up, im tired and im not sitting on the floor' i attempted to move his feet up so i could take a seat next to him, but he pulled his large feet out of my hands and placed them right back where they were. i sighed in frustration at his childish behaviour.

'im your guest, dont be rude lex' he tormented, using a completely new nickname that i'd never been called before.

'lex?' i questioned with a small smirk on my face, when i saw a pink blush on his pale cheeks.

'i-i just thought that maybe you wanted me to call you something different because you know, im luke' he stumbled over his words, adorably trying to explain his actions.

'what do you mean by 'im luke'?' i questioned him chuckling, until i saw him freeze up.

it was like the wall i had finally began to be able to pull down was immediately put back up into place. his eyes widened and he tensed, moving his legs from on top of my thighs and sitting up straight. he cleared his throat and picked his water up off of the coffee table. as he bought it to his mouth, the back door slammed and we heard angry words being exchanged between ashton and calum by the sounds of it. mine and lukes eyes both snapped to each others, and i stood and walked towards the door of the kitchen.

lukes pov

oh god. what do i do now? ashton's home, he hates me and if he sees me in here with lex - i mean alex, then im dead. i stood, well attempted to stand, up and walked towards the window; why i cant just go out the door, ill never know. i opened the window and stuck my head out first, not a good idea. i landed straight on my head. i cursed and stood to my feet, running in any direction to get away from that house.
