A few weeks later
As the weeks passed, me and Carl grew closer. We would always invite Ron and Enid to what we called "Friday Free Game Night". We would all gather at our house and play games until the early hours of the morning. It was a great way to relax and spend time with our friends. We would often laugh and joke around until the wee hours of the night. It was the one night when we all snuck out and met in an empty house and played board games, read comics, played actual games, and fought each other. I and Enid became close friends, while Carl and Ron slowly started to hate each other. We would often stay up all night, laughing and talking until the sun came up. It was the best night of our lives.
Glenn was mourning the loss of Noah. I didn't know him well but from what I heard,he was a good kid. I was getting used to Alexandria. It felt like home. It was home. But the only thing off about it was Ron's dad. He looked like a nice guy. But he is just a dumbass abuser. Rick could see that.
I was hanging out with Judith, watching her. I heard the glass break. Rick and Pete were fighting. Carl and Enid came running with each other, I ran outside.
People were scared, so Carl tried to stop him. But he pushed him off, making him fall to the ground. "Carl!" I yelled. Helping him up. I stood by him and Enid. Watching Rick fight with Pete like children.
Why were they fighting?
Rick pulled out a gun, shoving it into everyone's faces. "Rick, stop damn it!" Deanna yelled.
"Or what? You're gonna kick me out? We need to live in the real world now. We need to control who lives here," he said. Pointing the gun at Pete.
"That's never been more clear to me than it is right now."
"Me-Me? You-You mean ME?
"I'm not going to stand by and-"
Just in a split second, Michonne came up behind Rick and knocked him out cold.

I looked at Michonne watching Rick. She was there the whole night. Maggie was trying to talk Deanna out of kicking Rick out. Daryl and Aaron were nowhere to be seen.
"Where's Glenn?" Maggie asked me. I was sitting on my bed, preparing for tonight. When Deanna chose to either kick out Rick or let him stay.
"I don't know. Last I saw, he left for the woods."
Maggie sighed and left. She was worried, I could see.
Night soon came, and Deanna was with all the people of Alexandria sitting by a fire. Debating whether to kick Rick out or not. Despite Maggie's order to stay inside, I was unable to comply. I spied on them, seeing what would happen. I heard Deanna talk about the pastor. "Damn you Gabriel," I whispered. Rick came through the gates soon enough, carrying a walker over his shoulder and throwing it on the ground. He started talking about helping the people of Alexandria when Pete walked through the door with a machete. Deanna's husband was that night. One quick slash thru the throat, and he was a goner..
"Holy shit!" I yelled. That caught people's attention. Abraham held Pete to the ground. Deanna cried as the love of her life died in her arms. "Rick...Do it." She told him. That's when he shot Pete in cold blood. In front of everyone.
"Rick?" Someone said. It looked like he knew the man.

I was just relaxing at Carl's house, reading a comic. I had some chips and a soda. Judith was next to me. Sleeping. Life was good.
